Cool!
DS was born at 1lb. 4oz., so we were very familiar with the respiratory therapist, back then. We gave him several nebulizer treatments (albuterol) a day when we were finally able to bring him home.
He is now 21 and has had no problems for years now. :)
That is really cool! I love to see and hear about NI grads. Those kids are fighters. Heck they fought to live. Truly a blessing.

Oh I can swim it's just not pretty when I do. If I go in the pool, I can swim for a long time without needing to stop. But I usually won't get in. Now swim in a body of water? I don't want to if I can help it. I swam in the Pacific in Hawaii when I was younger and I don't wish to do it again.
Now put a mountain in front of me and I will climb that every time. I guess it's good I live in the SW.

Although, I love the water and swimming too, I'm with ya' on the mountain thing, as well. I noticed earlier that you live in Albuquerque. I've skied both Red River and Taos, and have hiked Wheeler Peak. Love me some southern Rockies! :)

Yeah we have the Sandia mountains just east of us. I can see them from my son's window. Sandia means watermelon and that's why they were given that name because, when the sun hits them at sunset, they turn pink. I will try to post a picture soon.

I wonder if it's an age thing? Some older generations have a fear of water. Both my grandma's did.
.

Yea, not sure. My pop knows how to swim. Both mom and pop love bein' in the water, but, mom just never learned to swim, so she stays close to safety.
If I remember correctly, both of my grandfathers could swim, but, yes, I do remember that both of my grandmothers were afraid of water.
