Eavesdropping here, but I'm a respiratory therapist so when I hear inhaler my ears perk up. If you have an MDI and don't have a spacer, you can use an empty toilet roll. I love to give that tidbit out and hope it was relevant. If not,

Cool!
DS was born at 1lb. 4oz., so we were very familiar with the respiratory therapist, back then. We gave him several nebulizer treatments (albuterol) a day when we were finally able to bring him home.
He is now 21 and has had no problems for years now. :)

Years ago, I could do a back dive, forward dive, and a jackknife. I don't have the nerve to do any of those anymore (maybe a forward dive off the side of a pool, but I'm skipping the spring diving boards)!

Yea, the only thing I've done in recent years is makin' big splashes off the high spring board to entertain our kiddos. They used to always encourage me...! :D ;) :)

Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
That's why my mother enrolled me in swim classes, starting at 5 years old. You see, she never learned how to swim, but she didn't want me to have that fear.

Also, my mother couldn't play the piano. She signed me up for years of piano lessons, starting at 5.

Can anyone identify a pattern here? o_O

Oh for the Love of God yes! Then Mom shipped the freak'n piano to my house after I bought it, didn't tell me until it was about an hour out from delivery. Finally got that dang piano out of my house.

My Mom liked to dress me up in pretty dresses too. I had a Uniform early on but then even after the laws were changed and female students could wear pants to school she still would not allow it. She was in the hospital for about 4 months and my Dad was not about to deal with Ironing dresses and he took my sister and I to Sears and JC Pennney's and bought us Jeans, shorts and pull over shirts that were all wash and wear. I refused to wear the dresses when she tried to right the ship months later. Something good came out of that hospital stay.

My Mom also bought my DD about 2 dozen of those china (head, feet, arm) dolls from the time she was born. My Mom loved them as a kid. I didn't play with dolls plus they were saving for a house in a Nice neighborhood so my DD got the China dolls. They are still in boxes in the attic. Spooky dang things.`

Me I still have my Hot Wheel track downstairs, still works. All my Hotwheels/case and a shoe box of my MatchBox cars.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Will someone go and get me a pint of rich dark chocolate ice cream or a pint size hot fudge sundae (no nuts) from DairyQueen?
The day my best (male) friend, Al, died from cancer (3 days after diagnosis), Hubby took me to DQ.
I remember clearly, I had a pecan mudslide.

See, I told you I was a stress eater.

Condolences to your daughter's friend's family. 23 is way too young.
