When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Well, babe, there could be worse things! What if he got a girls name?!?! Or naked girl parts? Oh! Or....a tramp stamp?!?!

I have a massive tramp stamp. Designed by me & hubby's arm matches. ;)
I think I shared this on your tattoo removal thread, but I too, would like a tattoo.

My dad never wanted to be called "Grandpa", so he went by "King".

I would like to get "King" in Ukrainian Cyrillic, and the date of his passing - 05/16/2010.

While Hubby has not (nor would he EVER!) forbid me from getting one, I know he's not crazy about the idea.
Until he endorses it 100%, I'm not getting one.

It's not a battle of wills, because everyone in this thraed will concur that he let's me do whatever I want; it's a matter of me respecting, that for now, he's not sold on the idea.

I love that idea. It's sweet! My grandmother passed a few months back. She was the last of my grandparents. I've been floating an idea to memorialize my most beloved grandparents. Their last name was Kilroy so after my Grampa passed in '04 several family members have gotten simple Kilroy Was Here line drawings tattooed. I'm thinking get a simple Kelroy Was Here but have a beautiful butterfly sitting on Kilroy's head. My Gramma loved butterflies and they make me think of her. It'd be quite fitting for her to be parked right on top of Kilroy's head, too. LOL!

Where I got my old 19 yro stupid tattoo laser'd off I think I want to get something much larger, that maybe wraps around my shoulder.

Somewhere I eventually want Rosie the Riveter reflective of my strength and perseverance as a woman.

I'd like to have my boys' names tattoo gone over to brighten it up.

I'm still not opposed and almost serious about my ode to my dad. Back in his wild sailor days he woke up in a drunken stupor with "sweet" and "sour" printed below each nipple. I asked him once what he was thinking, what could've inspired such awesome display of humor. He says he has no recollection whatsoever. I love it all the more! I've threatened for years to get "sugar" and "spice" placed in the same location(s). I'm a smart*** daughter like that, tho. LOL!

If I ever got something for my mother, someday I'm sure I will, it'll likely be a flying pig. She loves winged pigs.

I could dream up tattoos all day. I'd be cool with full sleeves. I don't care. It's all decoration. I think it's beautiful. Hubby doesn't care. He thinks women are amazing and beautiful tattooed or not tattooed. It's all good around here! :P

I have teenager wisdom or lack thereof to share!

DS18 thought he was oh-so clever taking his intake manifold on his '07 Mustang apart to clean and detail the engine stuff last week. Well, it sounds like he didn't get everything put back correctly. The car runs like crap right now. Dad is working out of town so he has nobody to help him trouble shoot it. And DH has chewed his butt for taking it apart when he was told not to. Dad doesn't have time to work on cars on the weekends.

So DH is mad. 18 yro kid is mad. Okay well the 18 yro just said "My hopes and dreams have been crushed." It's the end of the world, you know.

The Packers and Favre have been talking for a couple years now. The problem was certain fans who can't let it go.

I was very removed from all the Favre hoopla. He reminded me in the end of his career very much of our Sammy Sosa. Classier ways of retiring. They could have left and revered but chose not to, now they both seem to crave what they blew. Choices.

I am sad.
Son #2 has gone to get a tattoo.

I asked him not to. I told him not to. I begged him not to.
I refused to drive him. Likewise, I refused to pick him up.

I know it's his skin, but seriously, he has put minimal thought into this. And it's so permanent. (I've seen @sweetpee_1993's pics; he's never going to go through that.)

Hubby is going to flip.
And me, I am sad. :(
well.. Tattoos now can be removed easier than before with some lasers treatments.
Its gonna cost money but hopefully will be HIS money, not yours.

Yeah, but it isn't easy. I've listened to Kelly Ripa over the last year or so talk about having hers removed it takes many many visits and she lectures on how stupid it was and needed it gone.

Seriously, I really think the Cleaning Lady is trying to injure me.
The bench has now been inched back into perfect position, but the damage has been done.

You may recognize "this little piggy" from a couple of weeks ago.

I had a thread on here chronicling my laser removal. It's a painful, nasty business. The big ol' juicy blisters are way more awful to deal with than the raw/scabbed freshly tattooed flesh.

Yeah, I don't blame hubby. I'm not sure I'd want to be looking at my DH with any pet name of his Mommy on him either. Was your Dad supportive of the idea of you tattoo'ing?
