no kids?
Thousands and thousands of them, that clog their pool filter on a regular basis.

Not to my recollection. You've never stuck them on your nose?
Good analogy. As thorns are to roses, so are these to maple syrup, I guess...?

actually, you should expect even more drama in college lol
Are you saying that I'm not tough competition? It's hard to compete when there are so many professional photographers on here, but a lot of them just post on the various photo-of-the-day threads now. The contests used to be a lot more competitive when I first joined here.
We call them whirlybirds. Those are what I cleaned out of the gutters on Thursday. Some of them had already started growing trees!
I have one picture from FotLK that I've wanted to use so many times, but there is a woman's head in the bottom right hand corner. Otherwise it's a decent picture of one of the performers on stilts as he is "kicking" towards the audience.I always liked this shot I took, but I think the people in front of me would keep it from ever winning.

The worst part about not living on campus is not meeting new people. The friends I hang out with are the same ones I had in high school. I can't imagine not living on campus and commuting from a different town. At least in my case I have several friends who are doing the same thing I'm doing.Yeah I understand that debt thing. It is sucidoodles. I can argue either side of the debate on going away to college or staying at home. They both have they advantages. My kids wanted to go away to college and I wanted them to have that experience but that isn't the right situation for every student and their families.

Well my grandma apparently isn't doing to well tonight. She's really weak and can't walk or do much by herself. My aunt called my dad about an hour ago and asked if he could come over right away, and of course he did. I guess she went to go to the bathroom and ended up falling down outside the bathroom door, which is about one or two steps from her bedroom door. When my dad got there they got her to the bathroom and sat her down, and then they took her back to her bedroom and sat her on her bed. I guess she needed to take 3 or 4 breaks between the bathroom and her bed. Since they couldn't get her downstairs to their car themselves they called the ambulance to take her to the hospital. Last we heard, they were in route to the hospital.
My dad thinks she just got a virus of some sort, but she still needed to go to Urgent Care. They didn't need to take her out on a stretcher since she was able to sit up, so instead they had some kind of special chair or something.
As of right now it doesn't sound super serious, but we haven't heard anything from a doctor. I don't know how long they're going to be out there (right now it's just my dad and aunt with her).
I've been up for just over 20 hours, and I've had a 10 minute nap (I was woken up) today. I don't really want to go to sleep in case we'd get some more news or something would happen, but I'm starting to feel tired. I might go to sleep in a bit and have them wake me up if needed.
No, she lives with my aunt (her daughter). I guess she's been in bed all day because she hasn't felt that great. This happened to my MIL in the winter. Two men from the condo found her passed out in the parking garage. She was taken by ambulance to the ER room. She had a virus. They hooked her up to an IV to re-hydrate her. They kept her there 2 or 3 days monitoring her vitals.
Hope you are right and it is a virus. Does she live alone?
