in Sazu's defence.. he got splattered a few seconds after the rhino lift.

We have everything on our tower, telephone, TV and internet. We only have laptops, tablets and iPhones here, not any desktops any longer. Chucked it (after I hit the hardrive a few times with a sledge hammer) cause nobody used it and those Pups take a lot of room. All are used via WiFi.

a laptop is fine as long you connect with a N wireless WIFI adapter or via ethernet cable.

I thought she was talking about cleaning her bottle. If it were run through the coffee maker the germs would have been killed off by how hot it makes the water.
except in the reservoir area.
also, sometimes the water in the coffee machine is not hot enough to kill bacteria.
Bacteria and viruses usually need boiling point for more than 10 minutes to kill most of them..
Most coffee makers do not reach boiling point and throw the water to the filter/coffee load after a pair of minutes or two.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

Her germs. Her coffee maker. Her hubby. Way more germs exchanged in a simple good-bye kiss.
Again, no big deal to me.

There's a 15 year old back story to the G. Keurig story, which is what made it so delightfully ironic.
Perhaps I will share it one day.

Or not.
@Goofyernmost already has a fairly tainted view of Canadians.

thats a lot of machineguns!.
This ship seems smaller than the other posted her a few ago.. only 2 engines?

Yes, it's smaller. It's a WWII era B-25J medium bomber with 2 engines. The other was a WWII era B-17G heavy bomber with 4 engines.
The B-25 is probably most famous as the plane used in the Doolittle raid on Tokyo, Japan on April 18th, 1942, but, was used in all theaters of the war.
The B-17 was mainly used as a daylight bomber in the European theater of the war.
I've been keeping up with this stuff since I was about 8 years old. It just fascinates me.

Fireworks were amazing tonight. Every bit as great as Wishes, if not better. Fireworks was sync'd to Disney movies and park songs. My favorite ones were Frozen (oy, I know) it was beautiful, all sorts of silvers and blue shot from the ground and above to Let it Go. When the music started the cheers from 100's of thousands of people. Next was Golden Wings (America). Every shot of fireworks was in sync with color explosions of red white and blue again from the ground and above.

I wish I could remember what music was set to the sperm fireworks. These were shot from the ground and then imploded into squiggle wormie individual fireworks. They were pretty sperm but when the first shot out of the flume from the ground there was a few hundred thousand people quietly saying Sperm....not so quite with that many people saying it together.

Some of the sets of fireworks were set to very old Disney owned films. DD and I both agreed they could have had some better choices for patriotic songs but it did not disappoint with the fireworks.

Phone doesn't capture the creepity well but you can imagine it in motion

Along the lines of old military aircraft, this reminds me a bit of an old wreckage of a B18 bomber up in the New Hampshire mountains. (On Jan. 14,1942, a crew had lost their way at night, while on anti-submarine patrol off the East Coast. They turned around to avoid a storm, and miscalculated the drift along the route back to their base in Chicopee, MA, and ended up crashing into the side of Mt. Waternomee.) Five survived the crash, out of a crew of seven.

Back around the autumn of 1990, we hiked to the site. It was a challenging hike up there; and when we reached the site, there was metal stuck in trees, part of engines on the ground, landing gear and fuselage strewn all over the area. We were very respectful of the site, noting what had happened there, and giving thanks to the rescuers from the Army, as well as local people in the area, who all pitched in to help out and hike up there, through very deep snow, on a cold January evening, in 1942.

That disclosure is what makes me almost giddy that throughout my 66 years I have never spent one minute of it thinking about stuff like that and surprise, surprise I have been in the hospital only three times. Once when I was born, once when I had my tonsils removed (that was a status thing of the 50's) and when I had my leg injury. I have made only one visit as a patient to the ER. I have a random cold every two years or so. My point is that I have never had any bacterial related illnesses that I wouldn't have gotten anyway.

That's only because you cannot trust people that are that polite. They most assuredly are planning something and are trying not to sound too aggressive.

Talk about Freudian slip ....

At least half the time I type in @Goofyernmost, nothing comes up.
Maybe because I spell it @Grumpyernmost, eh?!

I am never grumpy! It's just that everyone else is overly good natured.
