Maybe they were purposely showing the wrong footage. I remember back when Wisconsin was going through the Recall efforts of Scott Walker, Fox News showed footage from Florida of people turning cars over and lighting them on fire and said it was the protests at the capitol building. There were palm trees in the background and police officers riding horses... neither of which we have here. The protests here were not violent whatsoever.
Palm trees would be the giveaway that it's not really Wisconsin. Everyone knows there should be igloos in the background.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Pulled up to my mom's house to drop off a check my dad gave to me. Saw her in the front yard in a nightgown (at 4 in the evening) trying to pick up a chicken... :bored:
What's the problem here?

Pyjama Days are a wonderful thing, and chickens don't pick up themselves you know.

P.S. - All this past week I have been driving the boys to work and school in my nightgown. Much easier to crawl right back into bed afterward.

Help!I've had a few drinks and I'm somewhere in South Beach, Miami. I took the bus from the peoplemover in downtown and got off at some stop that I thought was the beach but it's not. I am definately most likely lost. I will take a pic and if anyone recognizes the area, please tell me where I am!

No one in WITWIBS is from Southern Florida and unfortunately, they're more apt to leave you where you are in that alley.

I think it's a game, but, you know how subtle Peters posts are so it could be anything. I'm guessing he took an Alt. Route. :joyfull:
I have a cousin who likes to play "Where am I?"
He takes a selfie with a bit of background, and then messages it to a bunch of siblings and cousins.

The first person to get it right is proclaimed, "Winner. Winner. Chicken dinner".

So far, he owes me three chicken dinners.

Cool! :)
I've studied/study all aspects in regards to WWII, but, I have a special interest in the air war.
I built all kinds of models when I was way younger; planes, ships, tanks, etc.
Did you know that the last salvo in history ever to be fired by a battleship against other warships was the USS Mississippi at the Battle of Surigao Strait during the Battle of Leyte Gulf in the Philippines in Oct. of 1944?
That kinda' warfare has long since been made obsolete with the domination of the aircraft carrier.
Very interesting stuff. :) To me, anyway. ;) :)
Yeah, I also read this was the reason the YAMATO and her sister ship (huge dreadnoughts) were useless in the war against the US (despite having insane armor and weaponry).

Seems the flaw of both Hitler and the Japan empire on trying to build "biggest" to cause fear..also caused huge deviation of resources that could have developed/build and man many more effective individual units. (like a single paris gun vs a full tank division )

Thank Thnak you very much. Such a Canadian nice thing to say, eh. I have no plans to leave, so not to worry. Many have tried to drive me out, but, they were a whole lot less then successful. I've been impervious to their imagined power. :)
people have? :bored:

maybe you should leave a plastic chicken head or these horse godfather ones to give a message:

Twrq1dQ.jpg

that he owes you something.

alternatively.. you could send them a photo of all the Murdered House Stark members "The Laninsters always pay their debt"

Six, maybe seven, loads of laundry await me.

Cannot.
Get.
Motivated.

Might be because hardly any of it is mine.

solution.. drop the loads of clothes on THEIR beds and stuff your kids always use.
