I shopped them for my Grandfather's ECV.

You can find them online. Though, you are right, all the services are fairly competitively priced...and I'm pretty sure they all offer the hotel delivery option.
The one you recommended might be the winner, though. I had eliminated a few because they seemed over priced. This one has a model that will work for me and is $15-$30 cheaper, plus they have back-up scooters located on Disney property. The only difference is the weight limit, which I am well under.

Now let's just hope I'll be able to walk normally and won't need a scooter...

Good. Glad that worked out for you!

They call that "suicide by ECV." It is not the most effective way to go.
reminds me, there was this korean (or chinese?) scooter user who literally rammed a mall's elevator's doors (he seemed to be angry for missing it) until they gave up and he fell on the hole and died.

it was.. seriously very f***ed up D:

I can only be found here. I'm not one to cheat on Steve behind his back, it would feel wrong.

Occasionally I will do a random google search and it will direct me to the chit chat section of another Disney forum. I guess google thinks I only take advice from those who wear mouse ears. I pick a different link.

So the trick to making you laugh out loud (there should really be an acronym for that phrase) is to make fun of Wisconsin?

It's all in the delivery.

Has anyone here ever rented an ECV while at WDW and know of a good company? I'm looking into it as a possibility...I'm still dealing with the ankle and the doctor said the best case scenario is that I need physical therapy...the more likely scenario is that I'm in the boot for two months with the possibility of surgery. Going for an MRI on Tuesday.

We used scootaround.com. They also pickup and deliver to resort. We were supposed to meet the deliverer in the lobby at 12:30 and at 12:15 he was there. On pickup he was 15 minutes early as well. Promptness impresses me. I priced a few companies and found them competitive. A friend had knee replacement surgery a few years back and uses them every year when he goes. Hopefully you won't need it, but if you do, I would recommend the insurance. Those planters jump out of nowhere. I would not recommend bringing it to MK but for the others it was an enormous help for hubby.

Welcome to adulthood. You have 60 more years of "awkward" ahead of you.
So you're saying that after that you become the one that is creating the awkward situations instead of the participant. I think there is some truth to that!

That's why I don't even venture out of Chit Chat anymore. Occasionally I'll venture into the DVC section (where the complaining, and posting, are less frequent), the Disneyland section, or if someone is asking a general question in another section, I'll look at that thread and try to help, but just the complaining constantly and the personal attacks bother me.

Honestly, if it weren't for this thraed, I probably wouldn't even be on here anymore, at least not actively. It's unfortunate because I feel like it's gotten worse since I first joined.
Perhaps we have found the problem! Hmmmm! Have we stumbled upon the one common denominator? :joyfull:

Here's the secret. You have to be like me and never get upset about anything, go with the flow, roll with the punches and otherwise just agree with everyone about everything. It's easy, really!!!:angelic:

Could the Pup have a urinary track infection?

(psst. you can take a disposable aluminum tin and slip it under the Pup when they are 'going', don't need a lot but it needs to be pretty fresh. Transfer it into a small disposable plastic container/lid and take right to vet. They can place a special piece of tissue paper in it and tell almost immediately, no need to take Pup in. To do this with Pup present they generally have to crate them until they 'go.' That can be hours to a day and costly.)

As I said at the time - I am a middle aged woman who has had her behind pinched more times than I can count. If I had a nickel for every time I was pinched, groped, felt up, or had my uniform kilt flipped, I'd be retired; still rolling nickels.
To many of my generation, it's no big deal. To others, it's major.

Unfortunately for Hatter, those who were offended were majorly pi$$ed. And let him know it.
And the most vocally pi$$ed off poster isn't on here anymore. Let It Go would have been appropriate with that.

I have an ankle MRI on Thursday. :jawdrop: I rented my scooter from Walker Mobility. The more days you rent, the cheaper. They will meet you at the resort to drop it off. We were delayed getting to the resort when we said we'd get there by 20 minutes and they waited for us. They are also great if there's a problem. We had been at Typhoon Lagoon when a storm blew in and I had to go through a lot of water to get to the bus. The next day at DHS it seemed like something was rubbing so I called and in 30 minutes (we rode GMR) they met us with a replacement. They even brought it to GMR.
