I have an old friend from elementary and junior high school in Cali. comin' into town this weekend for a wedding. Haven't seen him since a trip back to Cali. that we did back in '87. He is now (and, actually has been for quite some time) a very rich video game developer. We are still trying to finalize plans for dinner. Should be an interesting visit. :)
So we are all getting free PS4s from him right?

OK so what's the etiquette here:

The train was pretty crowded and someone sat with me in a two seat row. There were three seat rows with only one person in them where there would have been a buffer seat, but he sat right smack next to me. Annoying. Anyway, he fell asleep as soon as we left. As people got off, rows and rows of seats started opening up. I didn't want to wake the dude up so I could move to another row, but I really wanted to sit by myself!!! What would you do?? I just sat here until he got off and now I am venting to you fine people.

I would have moved.

That's the polite Canadian thing to do - let the guy have the whole row to himself.

I move to an empty seat when one opens up. Just make sure to take your ticket thingy with you.

It's infuriating. Unplug for 5 seconds people!!! You're seriously not THAT important that people need your input within seconds.
reminds me of the joke.. related on how people will tweet or share anything that happens. even if its awful.

imagine a guy getting murdered and tells the assasin "Hang on, must post a selfie and a twitter before I die"

on Facebook: "Ralph is surprised" then "POSTED A NEW COMMENT: "Dude, I'm totally getting murdered today! LOL#YOLO"

Man I hope the creature in this video is a sign that they will go back to using more practical effects in the new trilogy

I squealed much like a pig with its tail being pulled when I saw that. Now these aye holes in the hotel lobby are looking at me sideways.:cautious: They don't understand. They just don't...understand.

And I love J J Abrams, so there's that. I have hope for the movie!

This cat is as sick of Let It Go as most people seem to be...

Pretty sure I'm the only person not sick of the song nor movie. :inlove: But I don't care for the Demi lovato version.

Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Interesting times we live in, with all the strange rumors and the little birdie chirps in PMs I've heard.

Mine train soft opened? I haven't checked that thread in a while... are we taking bets on how many hours the stand by line will be on the 28th when it's been advertised to "officially" open?

Oh Boy! Maybe the queue for Fairytale hall will be down to 4 hours then??? huh huh

SIL and her daughter are coming over tonight for what we call "Tea, Trudy" (a line from Titanic, of course) and we will be making Disney plans. Hopefully setting a date.
Seriously thinking of booking POR w/Free Dining, rather than POP w/Free QS Dining, and having to upgrade.

Still hoping Hubby will end up joining us, and there's no way these old bones can tolerate a double bed with his gigantic-ness hogging 3/4 of the bed. And yes, all 4 of us will share one room; we are never in it anyway.

Sadly, it looks like I will be watching Survivor in delay, so no spoilers in this thraed please.
