Good morning, Sagateers! It's taken me over 1 1/2 hours to catch up from last Friday on this thread; there were many interesting discussions. (Congrats to @donaldtoo on the new puppy! And, @Nemo14 my heart goes out to you regarding your mother. I went through something similar with both of my parents.)

Returned from Disney last night, and I am e x h a u s t e d. Had a great time, and the parks looked very good—and cleaner and better maintained than last year's visit. This is positive.

Epcot, in particular, looked gorgeous during the Flower & Garden Festival. (Side note: Can't tell you what a wonderful distraction it was to see tall, flower topiaries amongst the "tombstones" in front of Spaceship Earth. Yup, the "graveyard" is one of my pet peeves in Epcot . . .)

Weather only got hot during the afternoon; there was no humidity! I managed to luck out on this small window of gorgeous, sunny, dry weather.

Have a number of impressions to share from the past 5 days. I'll limit them to short snippets as I don't like to bore people with long trip threads. More later. :)

hang on, what is JC and GD?

Two variations of the Lord's name.

Yeah, I was kind of confused too. And I'm Christian
Typed in my best Cliff Clavin voice... Little known fact, very few people have ever done the research on the background of God and therefore are unaware of his last name. GD are Gods initials, his given name is actually Harold G. Dershowits. He decided to do like Madonna and Cher and go with just one easily remembered name so he chose his middle name, which of course, was God.

You heard it here first.
I got nothin to add!

Interesting webs that rich spiders weave, no? I can't fathom the amounts of money being mentioned and tossed about, and spent on lawyers, and bickered about, and squabbled over, and... it's all just so much.

I wish I had even a small percentage of the money being mentioned there. :greedy:

Why can't Tommy the T-Rex clap?

Because dinosaurs have been extinct for 65 million years.
which was caused by this issue.

the sad part is, that happens everywhere.
you just need to have a little fortune available, and it will most likely cause a fight between the farthest family members who HARDLY knew the man who created the wealth.

Family feuds to get the money from the famous Pedro Infante, Cantinflas and many others.. were visible for years in the newspapers in my country..same with global stars like Michael Jackson... Some of them do not even just want the money.. they want everything.. including the titles, songs..etc..
I'm surprised that there wasn't much info on the info of the Walt Disney feud.
the worst part? it might break the family in parts.. and the only ones who win are the lawyers.
