Finally home and chillin' for the night. Great day!
Spent some time at PetSmart, then out to dinner, and then the girls wanted to do a bit more shopping.
Anyway, I think I forgot to mention that the new pup is not home with us just yet.
She's a pound puppy, so she still has to be spayed and also has an uncomplicated umbilical hernia that they will take care of during the spaying.
We will bring her home Monday.

Quick hello!
Waiting for Mom to fall asleep so I've been looking through all the cute pet pictures. Here's my favorite of our Golden 10 years ago when Louise was just a kitten:



She absolutely adored Louise and would follow her all over the house. She never had puppies, so I guess this was the next best thing.

It is. It happened it April of 2012, it is only May of 2014.

Slow and sure will win the race.

My 1st dog was a Golden and she was a total sweetheart. My current pooch is a Border/lab mix and she seems to have inherited the lab demeanor mostly. She still has the bossiness of the border collie, but she has never been aggressive to any people or dogs.

Yep, our Golden was a female too, and a real sweety.
I thought that looked like some Lab in her, and she looks like a sweetheart, too.

Youngest DD says they have an Instagram page. She said the page still says Harlow and Sage, although, it's actually Harlow and Indiana now because, unfortunately, Sage passed.

Based on the fact that he knows he can totally trust you, I'm gonna' speculate that you and DS have some interesting conversations, sometimes.

Indeed. I love it. It is funny to KNOW stuff and listen to some conjecture that I KNOW is so far off base. On the flip side every once in a blue moon I know stuff he doesn't but not too often 'cause even if he doesn't find out from work he has friends that are in the need to know arena and they quietly share. Unlike us on a whole.

He knows I am careful in what I say and where he is now I never divulge. You'll notice there are never pic's that can back to haunt him. I have some amazing ones, that when things happen one of them generally can sneak a shot but they never hit mainstream social media or they'd be goners. It is so freak'n hard at times. The one I didn't get until after it was a wrap was the
Obama ID tag photo. It was kept close to the vest as they didn't want anyone duplicating them fraudulently. They certainly know when not to screw up.All of that stuff eventually makes it way home here as I am a pretty good archivist. When I was cleaning the garage I found 3 boxes three boxes form a couple of years ago. So many odds and ends from pins to special tags, lithographs, parties and events. I can't remember them being delivered let alone not being unpacked. (I'm so afraid of Florida bugs. I always unpack stuff out in the garage and the cardboard boxes never come in.

So...my knee is shot, I think. It's been hurting for a few weeks now but it's to the point that bending it hurts...bad. And keeping my leg stretched out also hurts. Bending knee to put sock on feels like the muscles aren't cooperating and it's tough...this is totally new for me, I've never had knee issues. I'm trying not to freak out over it, but my god does it hurt tonight. I stood around a lot at the party then sat for a while, now I'm home with legs stretched out on the couch.

I hope I'm not the first 30 year old to need a knee replacement.

That's why I always pay special attention to your posts regarding such. I know I'm not gonna' get a scoop, but, I may get a few tidbits here and there.
