Nothing beats the Carnegie Deli for obscenely excessive amounts of deli meat:

Properly slicing deli meats is an art. This has been mastered in many N.Y. Delis. I've bought corned beef, and pastrami, sandwiches in various other states—but their delis don't compare.

I don't know where the N.Y. deli owners get their deli meats, or how they slice them; but in my opinion, New York is the undisputed deli king. I rarely visit N.Y., but when I do, I make a beeline for a great deli experience. :hungry: And no, I've never been able to finish a whole sandwich--I always take the other half with me!
Oh, and don't even get me started on their scrumptious pickles . . . :hungry:

We used to have a big vegetable garden, but we've made that a lot smaller now, and just stick with flowers. These guys can't wait for the veggies...

Back in the days when we attempted gardening those little cuties ate everything before it ever got more then an inch high. Problem solved when I bought some dried blood (form of fertilizer, not murder) and just boxed the garden in pouring out solid strips of it. They stayed away, at least long enough to let the plants get a start.

Montreal is the tops in my book, or at least a very, very close second. If I didn't live so far away now, I would be off this computer and in route to Dunn's on St. Catherine Street.

Between the rabbits eating the plants and the squirrels eating the fruits and veggies, we don't have a lot of success with anything but tomatoes (sorry JenniferS). But there's nothing better than that first fresh tomato of the season,
