... stumped...STUMPED...OK, I'm stumped...
Who sings "Heading Home", and what's on the flip side...?!
I'm sure you guys WON'T disappoint me...!
I'm waiting.......
I struck out. Sorry.OK, I'm stumped...

Did you change your stump?
I struck out. Sorry.
Keen eye.Yes, indeed.
Upon further inspection, the previously posted "Stump" was...an imposter. it was just a section that had been sawed off an plopped on the ground.
Not only is the newer actual stump...well...an actual stump, but, the fact that it is sitting obliviously out in a field of tiny flowers, just drives further home the point, to me anyway, that this is the perfect visual reference for the "teaching professionals" in question.
Keen eye.
Both of us.
The thing that kept me from really wanting to attempt to learn stick is all the highway and traffic driving you do around here.I don't have the cold air on all the time in Lilly Dimples, but, I pretty much run the compressor all year long. Definitely during the scorching summer, but, also during most of the cooler months 'cause of the humidididity. Fall and spring, not so much.
My old Hyundai used to have a sun roof. Loved it. I need one in the next one.
Also, I think I'll go with an AT in the next one. I've been drivin' stick the last 25+ years and I like it (generally, better mileage too, but, these days, many vehicles with ATs have lock-up torque converters, so get just as good of millage on the highway, anyway), but with traffic as bad as it is lately, I'm gettin' kinda' tired of the ol' heelin', toein', and shiftin' routine.
In statistics, we'd have "review days." They were supposed to consist of us doing problems and asking questions. In reality, it consisted of us staring at him, doing some problems, someone having an occasional question, until someone decided "Hey, I'm done here," and getting up and leaving, at which point, everyone would leave.Off to English to sit for 40-50 minutes. Because that's all we ever do. Sit and listen to her, watch a video that isn't relevant at all, or talk in groups about our "research".
See you all later!
I'm nice to my Keurig. It's my phone's hands free system that gets my abuse...So embarrassing.
Hubby overheard me beaking at the Keurig. Again.
He, however, is watching another episode of the first season of 90210, so he better be keeping his comments to himself.
Is he studying up on Tara Reid for Sharknado2?So embarrassing.

My second car (first one that was new) was a Nissan Pulsar NX.The thing that kept me from really wanting to attempt to learn stick is all the highway and traffic driving you do around here.
I have a sunroof of sorts. Just have to pull a lever and remove 2 big screw things before putting the roof parts in a carrier bag in the back so it can be on hand when a random rain cloud rolls by.

Congratulations!I passed statistics with a B and I survived my first day of work. Life's pretty good...
They made it much easier to remove the front panels. I have never attempted to take the back off... It will monsoon for a month the moment I do.Yep, Jeeps be fun, but, sometimes the roofy things take a bit more time.
My '88 Hyundai had an electric sunroof with an interior cover that just slid back and forth with the push of a button.
Very handy.
And that would be a good thing, eh?Thanks for the update! Pretty soon you'll have taught us so much about Canada that we'll forget all about our silly stereotypes.
