Do the chickens keep dancing even when no one is watching them?

I'm "watching" hunger games 2 and I don't like it. It's so depressing. This is the second movie I've nixed recently.

The good news is, I think I'm finally ready to watch the Harry Potter movies.

And yes, I AM the last person on earth who hasn't read the books and/or seen the movies.

Read the books. Read the books. The theatre of imagination is far superior to anything they put on celluloid. (and I actually like the movies, but let your mind make the movies first, then watch the other people's interpretations)

That's why I've never watched the movies actually. I got half-way through the first book, and just decided it really was not my cup of tea, so that was the end of HP for me. I've seen parts of the movies, and read a lot of reviews, but nothing has compelled me to go back to it.

Haven't seen the second Hunger Games yet.

I haven't read the Harry Potter books as I just don't have the attention span for them, but I have seen every movie. I really liked the final few films, but the others I was just "eh" on. Actually, I watched the final movie on ABC Family last night. It's by far my favorite of the films.

That's because we are.

And we're better than them because of it!
I almost have 20,000 likes. I'm clearly better than anyone ever. I mean, it's not even a competition.

To those who may just be popping by, or who think I actually mean this, I don't. I'm just playing around, and I don't rank myself against others based on likes, posts, etc.

Did they buy it??

The books are better. The series does end "fairly" well.

Oddly enough, Catching Fire was the best out of the books

They're on my to read list but there's about two dozen books in front of them... They've always been a low priority for me. Plus, I hate the latest "fad" and "gimmick" reads, which is why I refuse to pick up 50 shades of blah (let's be real, if you want that type of material there's better to be found) or the twilight series (same).

I'll get to it eventually. :)

@Soarin' Over Pgh and @Gabe1 I gave you both your 5,000th like. Funny how you both got it on the same day.

I feel humbled and very special, thank you!

No you're not. That would be me, as I have no intention of ever reading the books or seeing the movies.

Tomorrow is April (unless I'm being fooled). That means it should consistently be above 50 degrees. Unfortunately that's not happening in the foreseeable future. 40s next week, then 50s on the weekend, then back into the 40s. Maybe I'm getting too greedy.
