The first episode I saw was during the middle of a season, and I didn't like it at all. Then I gave it a second chance and started with the first episode on Netflix (which I hear Sharknado is on), and it made so much more sense, and I enjoyed it a lot more. This final season was kind of disappointing, though.

Are you sure about this Sharknado thing?
First I've heard of it.

They are a great series of movies though...

I will say...if you find you like them, go read the books, then watch the movies again. Certain things will make more sense.

I read books 1 - 6, but could not get into the final one, despite starting it on three separate occasions.
I have never seen any of the movies.

I drug myself through the last few books. It seemed like at some point Rowling stopped editing her works. They just kept getting longer and longer...and making less and less sense.

Sortof like...Tolkein.

If you haven't seen the movies, they are worth watching. Some of the best movies (plot, effects, acting) put out in the last 20 years I think.

I really liked the books.. not so much about the movies.. I think they had to cut so much substance some of them lost their shine.
They could have done the Lord of the Rings way.. making Extended versions well over the 2 hour mark. But they hardly did.

Read the books. Read the books. The theatre of imagination is far superior to anything they put on celluloid. (and I actually like the movies, but let your mind make the movies first, then watch the other people's interpretations)

I almost have 20,000 likes. I'm clearly better than anyone ever. I mean, it's not even a competition.
