We are not going. What was the final decision-maker, you may be wondering. Well, I'm here to tell you! The final decision-maker was my brother has to go to his office in Madison for a couple nights, and we won't have anyone to watch our dog without going through a lot of hassle. Now we are either going this summer, next spring break, or next summer.

If you take away the politics, I must admit that Montreal has become a lot more relaxed and fun place since the English moved out. When my wife and I got married in 1972 we spent the first half of our honeymoon in Montreal staying at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel. The second half was in Quebec City at the Chateau Frontenac overlooking the St. Lawrence. The winter festival was going on at the time as well.

Oh my gosh! Those are the two hotels my father picked out for us to stay!!
