Last night oldest DD tripped over a free weight on her floor when she went to open a window in the dark and hurt her foot. Diagnosis - bone contusion. Will take 3 weeks to completely heal. Her wedding is in 3 weeks and 2 days...

I hope she will be o.k. in time for the wedding. Although, because she's younger, she'll heal faster. My guess is she'll probably be able to dance a few dances at her reception.

The second half was in Quebec City at the Chateau Frontenac overlooking the St. Lawrence.

That's where I stayed. It was for a conference sponsored by a government agency. I couldn't have afforded it if I were paying. It was a great hotel and location.
