My DH's nephew was doing this 13 years ago. (He is no longer welcome at our home.)

Before the Ministry of Labour mandated that we had to have heated potties with running water, we used to have these:


Rather than go out in the freezing cold, my former partner Al (RIP) used to pee in our plants all the time. We had at least a dozen large floor model potted plants, and he would rotate his way from one end of the trailer to the other. By the end of the week, he had "watered" each one at least once.

He passed away from cancer at the age of 50. These "Al stories" (and there are MANY OF THEM) that used to totally gross me out have mellowed and become fond memories since his passing.

So, yay!! Hubby's home.

He never even made it all the way to work before the boss called him and told him to turn around.
Two hours there ... two hours home.

And now he's out shovelling again because the Birthday Boy is still sleeping and Son #2 is a bum.
