All I have to say is - someone OWES US one heck of a summer.
Oh it will be one heck of a summer! It will always be remembered as the summer it still continued to snow long after winter was supposed to end.

And I am typing this from 50 degree New Jersey! New Jersey: Come for the slightly warmer weather. Leave because you are a Tesla employee.

interesting split vote on gender lines....

Very much so... It's the same on my Facebook page and also between the people at work and my friends at lunch! Weird.

A few girls seemed to like the bottom right eye, and their ages were 24-29. Five people liked the bottom left, ages 16-20.

All adults either liked the top left or right, with most men liking one and the women preferring the other.

I really like the top left, personally.

Thanks again for your help, everyone. :) I shall post bunny pics when they're finished!

It's. Not. That. Easy.
I know, I was just being silly and expressing what is probably the thoughts of the rest of Canada and the reason for the song... Let it Go!

I do remember though that when the separatist movement started in the late 60's, Quebec (primarily Montreal) was the financial center of the country. Then it all moved to Ontario, so the negative impact has lessened considerably since then. My wife's whole family (except the dead ones) all left Quebec after at least two generations of them had settled there from England and the US.

I've only been to Quebec City, and it was covered in deep snow when I was there.

When I was a teenager, my parents took me on vacation to see Quebec City, and also Montreal. I loved both cities, and enjoyed listening to people speaking French. I had learned a little French in high school, so I could understand some of what I was hearing around me (but I really couldn't speak it). One of the highlights of Quebec City was the Citadel and watching the changing of the guard.

My parents and I loved the restaurants in both cities. My dad, especially, liked escargot and would order it prepared with different sauces every night. No snails for me, thanks, but he was in heaven! We stayed in lovely hotels in both locations. My mom and I loved the fashions, and we enjoyed browsing in the shops; we bought a few outfits. We also visited a number of historical sites in Montreal as well. The Montreal subway was really fun. I could go on but I'll stop there. Quebec is a great place to visit!

If you take away the politics, I must admit that Montreal has become a lot more relaxed and fun place since the English moved out. When my wife and I got married in 1972 we spent the first half of our honeymoon in Montreal staying at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel. The second half was in Quebec City at the Chateau Frontenac overlooking the St. Lawrence. The winter festival was going on at the time as well.
