The trick is to take a camper and get an electrical site. There are modern amenities, but it's minimal.
There's a company that rents pop-ups (and everything you'd need) for use at FW. I'm seriously looking into it for something different. (I love camping.) The cost on the camper and site per day equals the same as a standard room at a value.

What's up with that?

When I travel to Chicago finding a clean bathroom isn't difficult unless it is during the Christmas Parade or a major event, then just finding one without a hour wait is the issue.

Doesn't anyone hire cleaning crews in NYC?
It's not that hard in Midtown. Just walk into a department store. I just wouldn't use any facility in a Port Authority station or park. Except for Bryant, which has flowers and classical music playing. The luxury bathroom for money is just another way to rip off tourists.

I've decided why I don't enjoy the Olympics this year. It's here's three runs of slalom, then 40 minutes of interviews and filler, then here's two heats of speed skating and a 15 minute look at past performances. Just when I start to get into whatever sport they are showing....they stop.

"Complimentary Wi-Fi is available at Reception Outpost, Meadows, Crockett's Tavern and the cabins. Campsites must pick up a modem kit at reception post. Internet Access is free. There will be a $125 deposit hold on credit card. Once kit is returned the hold will be released."

One Little Spark...
I love suspenseful movies. And the fact that this was based on real events, it made it that much more engaging for me.
Yeah. That's why I wish I hadn't known anything about the movie before watching it. But...going into it...

1) I knew he was a freighter captain
2) I knew his shop got hijacked by somoli pirates (though, HOW they did it was very interesting)
3) I knew they'd have the obligatory "everyone's life is threatened so take the captain hostage"
4) I knew the Navy was going to come in and save him
5) I knew he wasn't going to die (based off true story...)
6) I knew the last few scenes would be intense

So...all of that sortof ruined it for me. I got a lot more out of Flight, because I went in knowing pretty much nothing of the real plot. Before seeing it, I just thought he was a captain who had saved his plane and the notoriety ended up ruining his life.

I pretty much knew what would happen, but I get sucked into those films anyway and kind of forget about what actually happened.

I liked Flight, but not as much as Captain Phillips. The whole drug and alcohol thing turned me off a bit.

The trick is to cheat and bring an aero bed and a lot of pillows. We were laughed at, but we were also very comfy in that tent.
until a hurricane wrecks the place XD

I found both to be really good. but I honestly have watched Flight a few more times..
Densel's acting is superB.

I think we should send them all even further south. Maybe @Cesar R M can deal with them.
I might be of help, my taquitos are flawless and people get hooked on their taste.
But then I would be charging you guys for the favor ;)

Yep, those interviews. I saw one a short while ago. It was kinda sad. I was listening to Johnny Weir. He obviously is having a difficult time adjusting to being an ex-skater. Certainly craves the attention and needs the talk to be about him and not the current skaters.

They showed a segment this week of him and another Olympian going fishing. He dressed like Vegas strip pimp daddy gone wild and I thought, dude, you're going fishing!

Hmpf. High waist-ed jeans are suppose to make their return in the Spring 2014 line. Something tells me the young are not going to give up their low waist jeans.

Please, no.

Also big this spring and summer is the nautical look. Sailor tops with anchor designs and those stupid looking sailor hats (women's) and lots of red, navy blues, off whites and stripes. Also skin tight faux denim capris. I have a few friends in the industry who've already started with this nonsense. One wears a rope belt ("but I bought it, it was $30!" She whined) with the awful anchor print top and I almost lost my lunch.

Just take a rock and beat me to death with it now, please. I can't take it anymoreeee.
