One Little Spark...
Like every other sane person, I have grown indescribably tired of Frozen's "Let it Go". Hopefully in 3 years when the hype settles down I will be able to enjoy that movie's music again.

That said, this was the best cover I have yet seen. It had me cracking up at Julie Andrews, I think, and the laughter didn't stop.

That...was hilarious!

You just offended a huge portion of the forum.

But yeah, I agree! It's a terrible song that could be a great one!

Adele was the best!

Yeah, that's why I didn't post it in the Frozen thraed.

And I really don't mind the song. It's catchy, has a good beat, has a good piano part ( :inlove:good marks from me as I play piano as a hobby). It's just... I don't understand the hype. "I See the Light" from Tangled was much better. Heck, even "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" is better. Maybe some of my opinion has to do with the fact that I listened to the song before watching the movie.

Took my DD to the Chicago Auto Show yesterday. She is saving for her first new car and has a good chunk set aside, wants a mid sized SUV with 4x4 (thanks to snow storms of 2013-14 winter.) We walked the floors for a good six hours as she explored and I trailed beside her, showing her here and there what to look for...bumpers, blind spots, columns hitting knee caps etc. More it was a consumer day, add on costs, trade offs between models...

I had fun redirecting (kindly) the Auto Reps to speak to my DD. While she is 22, she is tiny, under 100# and looks to be about 15-16 not a young women that has graduated college. Funny the learning curve of some of the Auto Reps to grasp she was the one looking for info and pricing not me.

Wow, I can empathize with your situation. It's kinda like (many?) car salesmen are trained to not listen to the customer, display selective vision, and are also stuck in some sort of sexist, or age-related, time-warp.

Sixteen years ago, hubby and I went shopping for a new car. At that time, I had the money to pay for it in full. So, I wrote a check for over $14,000 and handed it to the car salesman. When all the paperwork was finished, we headed for the door to leave, and the salesman runs over to hubby, shakes his hand, and said thank you. Really??!! We had made it clear that it was my purchase, my name (only) was on the check I had just written out and given to him—and he completely ignored me?! :banghead:

Years later, we still laugh about this.

My favorite shopping for car story involves a salesman who couldn't remember our names (he kept calling us Dan and Bonny) and talked almost exclusively to (or at) my husband. The only thing he showed me was how big the trunk of the car was so I could "fit a lot of groceries back there". To this day we always check out cars for grocery room for me.
