I think on Letterman last Friday. An up and coming comedian, 1st big break, part of his monologue;

'I'm with my wife in the grocery store checkout, she is obviously far along in her pregnancy. She had a large assortment of fresh juices in cartons.

Checker, That is a lot of juice.

Wife, one of the hazards of pregnancy, I am always thirsty.

Checker, You know you could be diabetic, thirsty is an indicator.

Comedian Husband, well considering you are checking us out in a grocery store it is a safe bet your not a doctor.'

Yep, what is it about being pregnant that people gravitate to you, give you all sorts of advice, share horror stories of labor and touch your tummy without warning?

I had my wisdom teeth out when I was 16. It was over winter break and all 4 at once. I had to get them out before they broke through the gums, because that's the only way our insurance would cover it. Plus, I've heard it's easier to get them out when they aren't broken through. Anyway, I didn't have hardly any pain at all, neither did my brother or uncle who both got them taken out by the same oral surgeon. I took Vicodin as soon as it was safe to, though. It was probably 3 weeks before the swelling completely went away, but probably 1-1.5 weeks before I was eating relatively normal again.

VICODIN, the drug of choice by athletes

Vicodin = I didn't have hardly any pain at all :) Good for you!

  • Ed Forchion, 49, was arrested for marijuana possession in 2010 then jailed for violating probation last year
  • He is serving a staggered 270-day sentence which he serves in 20-day installments at a New Jersey prison
  • The 10 days in between jail stints he travels to California to smoke medical marijuana and receive treatment for cancer
  • Medical marijuana is legalized in New Jersey but the governor has refused to waive Forchion's sentence

I think because they can push into your other teeth and cause you pain. Probably can undo some expensive braces work too.
imho, it depends ont he person.. I have a friend who has the full set of windsom teeth and they fit on his mouth perfectly.
It depend son how long is your jaw.
But yeah.. they usually cause pain or push your teeth sideways...
That is how mine were. I was out several hours for both and they said they had a hard time waking me up from the anesthetic. Me, it wasn't likely just the anesthetic. I was a young Mom, traveled a lot with my job and trying to keep up with the kid and the household stuff. My thought afterwards, I finally got a nap and likely, deep in my subconscious I didn't want to wake up, was enjoying my nap.
they knocked you down completely?
they only applied zone anaesthetic to me... I could feel , see and smell all the drilling, pulling..
worst part was when the doctor, had to hold on my jaw as they tried to unlock the hook of the teeth.
I once felt like my jaw was gonna dislocate.. hence why he had to grab my jaw very tightly D:

What won't Mike Ditka endorse? just saw a commercial for invisible hearing aid and if you wear it for 30 days if you keep it or not the $50 gas card is yours to keep.

who?

pardon my language, but that governor sounds like a douch**g pulling the conservative "drugs are bad okay?" to the extreme.
I wonder if he would refuse to waive sentences of inmates found not guilty by DNA.

My street gets ignored until the very end of the plow shifts. So it's always fun waking up and everything is looking like a snow day only to find that everywhere else is cleared so I better get to work asap for that meeting if I want to keep my job.

One of the many reasons I don't think I can not have an SUV.

20 years ago I got my first Blazer, 4x4 and then a Ram pick-up with 4x4, now as of yesterday we have two Escapes with 4x4. Oddly the one my DH got yesterday is totally automatic 4x4, it has a sensor I understand. My Escape has a choice auto, or manual 4x4 choice (turn knobbie thing to on). Funny the changes from year to year. Mine also has nicer cup holders and elbow rest compartment. I have more cubbies to stash things in. My DH should have mine, he is a pack rat.

Yes. IV drip, knocked me out completely. They said they had to chiseled and break the teeth to break them up to get them unwedged. First and only time I've been knocked out.

And yeah. If the dude came from a prominent family likely it would have never even have gone to court.

And well a Ditka is Ditka.

Mine grew in years ago and I never had issue until recently also. They grew in line with the rest of my teeth so the dentist said leave them in. They a total pain to brush though.

No
I had mine out between the birth of my two kids. It was proactive cause I didn't want anything to go wrong while pregnant. There were several days of recovery that I wished I left well enough alone.

My DD had two removed, other two were fine. He went back to work the next day, no issues.
My best friend had hers out and was down for a few days, butit wasn't bad. I'm more worried about getting a migraine afterward than anything. But maybe I can put it off. Like, for 10, 20 years...

they did to me what you said (aka break with a saw and chinsel) sans the full anaesthetic.. I feel cheated D:

also, googled about ditka.. I feel sorry for him on the parody of Miley Cyrus's wrecking ball commercial.

heh!, I had this problem (before they started to become painful) and hence why I had them removed.. its nice to do not have problems like in your case.
Anyway.. the pain.. the pain! when they were finally leaving the gum, and food getting stuck there way too much didnt help. D:

I wonder how long until the humans evolve to a point where 99% of the population wont have these redundant teeth.
