oh my god, that looks delicious!

you're evil for poking her! lol
Why all 4 at once? do 2 per 2 from each side, so she can still eat D:

sounds like a Syfy movie of no shark adventures.
"Frozen apocalypse"
or "Coldnado"
dr said it would be better for her

:(my daughter has been in pain since last Wednesday the 22nd her wisdom teeth are coming in. I see surgery in her near future to extract all four at once
and she wont let me poke her cheeks :devilish:

Poor her. :arghh: They say it is a good thing that teeth are cut as babies and when kids are small 'cause if we had to cut another set as adults we'd be too wimpy to survive.

Mine were impacted so I had all 4 out at once. Down a full week, face and neck were pretty shades or orange and yellow and my head was the size of Pooh Bear. Good thing I did 4 at once, 'cause I wouldn't have gone back for the other two.

Curious question. Why do they remove wisdom teeth if they are coming in?

I think because they can push into your other teeth and cause you pain. Probably can undo some expensive braces work too.

I went to work for two hours and they sent everybody home. Freezing rain right now. I had to scrape half an inch of ice off the windshield and pour warm water on the door lock to even get in the car.

Bridges in and out of town are closed...interstates are closing as I speak....it was gridlock on I-85

Pixie Dust. We get both snow and ice storms. I'll take the snow over the ice any day. Be Safe.

Note: After our last ice storm they had a dude on a segment of the news. He said a mixture of vinegar and water in a spray bottle will dissolve the ice on windows and locks of cars. Not that that little piece of knowledge would do you any good at work.

I had my wisdom teeth out when I was 16. It was over winter break and all 4 at once. I had to get them out before they broke through the gums, because that's the only way our insurance would cover it. Plus, I've heard it's easier to get them out when they aren't broken through. Anyway, I didn't have hardly any pain at all, neither did my brother or uncle who both got them taken out by the same oral surgeon. I took Vicodin as soon as it was safe to, though. It was probably 3 weeks before the swelling completely went away, but probably 1-1.5 weeks before I was eating relatively normal again.

Classes did not cancel today, despite nearly every university cancelling morning classes. The wind chill advisory is off at noon, I believe, so I'm hoping it warms up a bit before my 2pm class. Tomorrow is supposed to be 20 degree, though. :joyfull:

I still have not gotten my wisdom teeth, even though I feel them move every once in a while and have since I was 16. My dentist says one will never come in because of the way it's angled. I have to see an oral surgeon this summer. Hoping to put it off because last time I had dental work done I had a horrible migraine afterward. The migraine was worse than the actual procedure...and lasted longer too.

I had mine out between the birth of my two kids. It was proactive cause I didn't want anything to go wrong while pregnant. There were several days of recovery that I wished I left well enough alone.

My DD had two removed, other two were fine. He went back to work the next day, no issues.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I start making a list of what I want to try when I'm there but then I realize I'd have to go on Biggest Loser after vacation. Too much good stuff. :hungry:
My rule is three bites/forkfuls of the decadent stuff. No starch. And at least one salad per day.
I almost never gain any weight in Disney despite eating things I rarely eat in real life.

I saw Parkside closed, was hoping you guys did too. Maybe 'cause Parkside is on Lake Michigan? We are at -2 with windchill of feels like -22. Joy Joy By mid-afternoon we are to break the zero mark. Woot!

They are saying 19 Wednesday however snow on Thursday and Saturday. Listening to the meteorologist is torturous.

Well that isn't fun either. Years of orthodontia, years of medieval torture. :in pain:
For some reason before the braces were put in I had to have this torture device put in my mouth that widened the top row of teeth. Everyday my mom had to put this key in and turn it, pushing the sides out a bit further and giving me a big gap between my 2 front teeth.

It was cruel and unwarranted punishment for whatever I did to deserve braces...

well, in my case.. my teeth were in a 70-80 degree angle compared to my other teeth. and both of bottom ones had "hook" type roots (aka bent)
so.. getting 4 at once would have destroyed my poor jaw.
(they took 2 hours and half to remove the lower one) D:
brrr,.. I get shivers remembering that...

That is how mine were. I was out several hours for both and they said they had a hard time waking me up from the anesthetic. Me, it wasn't likely just the anesthetic. I was a young Mom, traveled a lot with my job and trying to keep up with the kid and the household stuff. My thought afterwards, I finally got a nap and likely, deep in my subconscious I didn't want to wake up, was enjoying my nap.

What won't Mike Ditka endorse? just saw a commercial for invisible hearing aid and if you wear it for 30 days if you keep it or not the $50 gas card is yours to keep.
