One Little Spark...
My first job was at the lunch counter at the downtown Woolco department store; unfortunately named "Strawberry Street".
The lunch counter at the newer, modern Woolco at the mall, was called "The Red Grille". That Woolco became a Walmart in the 90's.

The downtown Woolco closed in 1986 and became our new library. The former Carnegie building library became the first location of the University.

AN ALERT TO ALL SAGETEERS!!

We are nearing the record breaking mark (post #23,010 will break the record). Keep an eye on the post number, and once we start getting very close to it, stop posting! Once the speech is posted, we may begin the celebration process and begin building on the record. Thank you!

Imagine instead of Nic Cage faces, we used Gary Busey faces. That might have scared too many Sageteers, though.
And speaking of celebrities who have appeared here in the Sageteer thraed, guess who's birthday was yesterday....BETTY WHITE. That's right, the lovely lady who will be forever known as America's Grandmother. Yesterday was her 92nd birthday. (Google it if you don't believe me. Not that you'd have reason to doubt, since 100% of what I say is always accurate 50% of the time).

I thought @Nemo14 was known as America's Grandmother? Oh wait, she's America's Mean Old Mom. Nervermind.

Personally, I'd rather have Betty than Gary at our celebration. She probably wouldn't have stood in the cheese tray, either.
