I actually thought about taking the kiddo to this years Cup, she'd love it and I have South American (all legal!) connections.

But, it was a bit too much for her age I think.

Right now it is -17 and windchills of -44. The windows are covered in ice, and so are the corners of exterior doors.

We took our tree down yesterday, along with all of the other decorations.

I was dreaming that when I woke up it would be nice and warm. Ha! -10 with a -34 wind chill. My house creaked all night and I kept getting up to check my skylights. Kept the faucet dripping all night to prevent frozen pipes. Unfortunately I had to venture outside, some siding came loose, and my breath had formed little icicles on my scarf after a few minutes. It hurts to breathe out there.
