To be fair, San Francisco is not SoCal. Especially in the mountains, the people up there can get some relatively cold weather compared to the rest of CA.I just read something that relates to the video posted about SoCal people complaining about cold.
I was reading comments on an article about the Packers and 49ers playing this weekend. One 49ers fans said that everyone is saying the 49ers never play in the cold, when they really play in the cold all the time. Something tells me this fan has no idea what 1 degree and -15 degree windchill feels like... it's not pleasant.
PS- This thraed is all about weather lately.
Not crazy, so much as insomniac.Only nine posts away from my 1,500th message. I don't feel like reaching that goal tonight. Goodnight to the crazy people who are still up.
Ah, I see. I feel for you.Not crazy, so much as insomniac.
Plus my son has a couple of buddies crashing here tonight, and I have trouble falling asleep until they settle down for the night. Might be a while.
I know, but it reminded me of the video that luv (?) posted of SoCal people freaking out over 50 degree weather. To be fair, San Francisco is not SoCal. Especially in the mountains, the people up there can get some relatively cold weather compared to the rest of CA.
But I know what you mean. I've lived and grew up in the northern states (MN, WI, etc) and I'm pretty sure that if that fan went to the game they would be in for a huge surprise.
Oh, okay. But my point still stands that some of the people living around SF have experienced colder weather than California is usually known for.I know, but it reminded me of the video that luv (?) posted of SoCal people freaking out over 50 degree weather.
When I was in LA in November there were people complaining about it being like 62. If I could pelt them with snowballs right now, I would.I just read something that relates to the video posted about SoCal people complaining about cold.

EDIT- The same poster just said that the 49ers play in 50 degree weather, which is cold.![]()
I would pelt them with Meg.When I was in LA in November there were people complaining about it being like 62. If I could pelt them with snowballs right now, I would.
All that would do is ruin Disneyland.I would pelt them with Meg.
It's only a matter of time before Meg ruins that, too. She has a very detailed list of her plans of attacks. Disneyland is currently 332 on the list, if I did my math right. All that would do is ruin Disneyland.
Yikes! So cold here, we've had "frost quakes".

It's gone up to negative 1 here. Must be all that sunshine....
Hey, negative 1 is balmy. You must not live north of Boston, I guess. Enjoy your heat wave!
No, I'm in RI - my daughter's north of Boston in the Andover area though.
