The glove will be on the other foot ;) come summer here and I can't grip the steering wheel in my car for the first 5 mins. without gettin' a 3rd degree burn. :in pain:
We drove to Florida one summer when the kids were little in a navy blue Caprice wagon with vinyl seats - need I say more?

We used to drive from NoCal to Texas and back every summer through SoCal, Arizona, New Mexico and West Texas dessert in a camper with no AC. I remember stoppin' at a roadside park just outside a' Tucson one year and it was 118 degrees. But, it was a dry heat...

When I was a kid, my parents took us on a cross-country camping adventure in our non air-conditioned station wagon. Eight of us plus food, clothes and camping gear, including a huge tent, on the road for 3 - 4 weeks at a time. We didn't dare complain...

Well after all the annoying stuff with my girlfriend's car today, its fitting that the plows came back during dinner and buried the entrance to the driveway so she can't pull her car back in. My Jeep however just drives over the pile they left.

Our driveway's been plowed in 3 times so far...DH keeps shoveling it every time. I'm just waiting for it to melt.

Classic!

What's funny is, we all still talk about it to this day with mom and pop, and those are some of our best memories ever! We were nuts, but, we had so much fun! The Grand Canyon, The Painted dessert, Bryce canyon, Zion Canyon, The Petrified Forrest, Yosemite, etc., etc., etc. We usually took a somewhat different trek every trip. :)
