When will we see Disney's next thrill attraction?

I see. And that's why I never understood the argument "I can go to six flags." Disney's thrill rides can't compare to Six Flags. That's why I want to see them do something like TOT again. But I don't understand what's the hate against thrill rides in WDW.

Rides you may consider thrill rides:
Splash Mountain
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Mission: SPACE
Test Track
Soarin'
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Tower of Terror
Dinosaur
Expedition Everest

10 thrill rides. Yeah I think there can be more also.

I personally dont agree with Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Test Track....the first three because they are weak, fun but not too thrilling, they are kid coasters.

Test Track i like but then again i go faster on the expressway than that so i dont find that to be a thrill ride....IMO

I would add Star-Tours to that list.

I also consider "Summit Plummet" as a thrill "ride" -

Well, if you're not obsessed with Disney and you've been there recently, I could see why you might not want to have your honeymoon there. Perhaps they'd rather go somewhere new they've never been together.

Seriously though, do you not realize the number of teens and adults who aren't big "thrill" riders? Grandmothers who have heart problems? Sure, I don't have numbers, but I do know that I have teenage relatives who absolutely hate your typical roller coasters but who thoroughly enjoy the thrill rides at WDW. Sure we'd all like to see a new thrill ride, but not every new addition is going to be one. Think logically. Thrill rides are like the top tier of a fancy cake. The top tier is always the smallest. Your dark rides and shows and exhibits are what really flesh out the experience.

I am not saying there needs to be a new supercoaster but a thrill ride like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey would be awesome. I mean dont get me wrong i love Toy Story Midway Mania but when was the last time something thrilling came out? 4 years ago? That is a long time....

You think Space mt isn't a thrill ride? I can see the rest, but space mt. is probably the most thrilling coaster in WDW imo.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. But I don't think you over 65 m.p.h on a 50 degree banked curve. If you do you need to do your own ride in your car lol.

Considering how long it takes to construct rides, not even considering the time to get everything approved and money and blah blah.... 4 years is a very short time in theme park time.

It reminds me of a mini coaster just outside of Chicago at a Six Flags called The Whizzer, the themeing and everything about Space Mountain is much much much better but it is a mild little coaster. The thrilling part for me is trying to make sure i dont hit my head on the beams....lol

Well just like everyone loves Horizons and other stuff we like the Disney thrill rides and want to see some more in WDW. Just like everyone wants Horizons back and what not we would like to see some more thrill rides.

And we aren't the same person.

Again. What one person sees as thrilling is different than someone else. I see the following as thrilling:

Haunted Mansion
Peter Pan
Hall of the Presidents
Spaceship Earth
Et Al.

I'm not trying to dis those attractions that others find thrilling. I really enjoy them too. But I am at a point in my life where being turned upside down does not thrill me as much as seeing my child's reaction at seeing Snow White getting the apple from the witch or seeing the platypus trying to toss an egg at you in IASW.

It is very closed minded to think that thrilling only means one thing.

Mission: SPACE opened in 2003 then Everest in 2006. That's even shorter. Then you had Dinosaur in 1998 then Rock n Roller Coaster in 1999. Soarin' in 2005 then Everest in 2006. Splash Mountain in 1992 then Tower in 1994.

Just saying if they wanted to they could do it.

Wow just wow....you got to be kidding me. Look up the meaning of the word Thrill. If you honestly can say that Spaceship Earth or Hall of Presidents is a thrill ride then you have issues. You seem to think ENTERTAINING is the same as THRILL. It is not
