When will we see Disney's next thrill attraction?

I cant debate with someone who can say with a straight face that Hall of Presidents is a thrill ride.

I dont own the term Thrill Ride, but i acutally know how to use it correctly.....using your definition of Thrill ride, everything is a thrill ride.

Mission: SPACE opened in 2003 then Everest in 2006. That's even shorter. Then you had Dinosaur in 1998 then Rock n Roller Coaster in 1999. Soarin' in 2005 then Everest in 2006. Splash Mountain in 1992 then Tower in 1994.

Just saying if they wanted to they could do it.

Of course they could.

But you shouldn't expect it.

And I wouldn't tell my sister that Space Mountain isn't very thrilling. She cried her eyes out last time we rode it together. The girl is 14.

Wow just wow....you got to be kidding me. Look up the meaning of the word Thrill. If you honestly can say that Spaceship Earth or Hall of Presidents is a thrill ride then you have issues. You seem to think ENTERTAINING is the same as THRILL. It is not

Disney devil you have to understand that a thrill ride is a ride that will excite and thrill you at the same time. So maybe those attractions do that for that poster. Just because they don't do it for you doesn't mean that you bash them because they don't have the same opinion of thrill rides as you.

Check out number 9......I also didn't refer to HoP as a thrill ride. I said it was thrilling.

It reminds me of a mini coaster just outside of Chicago at a Six Flags called The Whizzer, the themeing and everything about Space Mountain is much much much better but it is a mild little coaster. The thrilling part for me is trying to make sure i dont hit my head on the beams....lol

I know what your saying. Compared to other parks, space as well as every WDW coaster for that matter would be more of the mild/kiddie kind. But for WDW, space is the stuff!!!!!

The best Disney coaster I've ever been on was California Screamin' great fun.

Oh ya. Cali screamin was/is ahhhmazing!!! I love that ride!!!! Way better than rockin coaster. But, I can't really compare it to WDW's or my space mt. It just wouldn't be fair lol. Nostalgia plays a big part in what would be my final decision. :p

But the thing with the coasters in WDW, my cousins who don't like coasters at six flags love coasters at WDW. These are rides that MORE of the family can enjoy together. Something I thought of... a lot of the "thrill" rides at WDW are mostly in the dark. Well at 3 of the major ones. Think about all those people who have heights issues... They feel more comfortable in dark coasters and enjoy them.

I am okay with people having a different opinion than me. But to warp words to fit ones argument is wrong.

Look at RRC, is it bigger or faster than The Hulk? No, but in my opinion is is much better because of the theme, the environment, the whole package which in my opinion is perfect.

Okay. That's what I'm saying. "Thrill" rides at WDW are aimed at a family experience. Appeal to the most amount of people. The plan is not for Mom to take the tots to the HISTK playground while Dad takes 8 year old Joe to Muppets and 15 and 16year old Jack and Mary to Sunset Blvd to hit the "thrill" rides.

I understand, i never said they should create rides only for adults, but it would be awesome if they created an Iron Man ride like RCC, with a whole preshow with Robert Downey Jr. etc. that would be awesome.

If you can honestly say with a straight face that this happens when you go on SpaceShip Earth:

"to affect with a sudden wave of keen emotion or excitement, as to produce a tremor or tingling sensation through the body."

You have issues.

I'll take my issues over your volumes any day of the week.

It's my 5 yo favorite ride at epcot. So yes to me it's thrilling.
