When will we see Disney's next thrill attraction?

Apparently not.....

This is what he said:

"I think Disney has moved too far away from immersive dark ride type of attractions that stimulate the mind and imagination. Too much focus on stimulating the glands that produce adrenaline."

So thrill rides cant stimulate someones imagination....that is beyond ignorant.

No, that's just one person's opinion.

You seem to have a knack for picking fights and making insulting statements in multiple threads.......

We throw the term thrill around a lot but forget what is thrilling for one is not thrilling to another. I think Disney has moved too far away from immersive dark ride type of attractions that stimulate the mind and imagination. Too much focus on stimulating the glands that produce adrenaline.

Looking.....nope. Don't see where he said that thrill rides don't stimulate the imagination. See where he said they focus on stimulating the adrenaline.

What someone considers thrilling is a totally subjective decision and therefor is hardly worth arguing bout. So how about we don't play disneydevil1's game. He/she will just keep on trying to get a rise out of anyone who replies.

My game? Sorry i will call out ignorant people all the time. Some people like the same old same old...some of us are smart and see stuff like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and see how Disney could improve and get sick and tired of people saying that Disney does not need anything new because 2 years olds should have fun.....

No, they just think that 2 year-olds should have as much right to enjoy themselves as anyone else.....

So instead of pleasing everyone, 2 year olds should get the attention? I mean they really could of gone all out with the fantasyland expansion but pretty much all they are doing is creating new meet and greet areas and another Dumbo ride.....that is weak.

Stop reading what you want to see and actually read what was typed. No one ever said that 2 year-olds should be the only group to get attention. Rather, Disney chooses to include them in their plans.

Disneydevil I agree with you somewhat. I think your definition of a thrill ride is something that has high speed drops and loops and anything that moves fast. So you wouldn't consider Soarin' a thrill ride. And that's understandable. I think Disney could use 2 or 3 more rides like your definition. But on the other hand GMR maybe boring to you but millions of others may disagree. I guess your also against the FLE. I am to somewhat. It's not my taste but I won't pass judgement till I see it. What you may dislike others may like. I agree thrill rides will bring in the attendance more than it's a small world but Disney doesn't like to make thrill rides (your definition) for some reason. Even though Walt knew what he was doing in 1959 when he built the Mattehorn. He knew Disneyland needed something for the teens and he made a step toward solving that problem. I wish Disney today will make a step toward making a little more exciting adventures. It's been 4 years since the last one has opened. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the next year.

Go ahead an include them...but dont dismiss everyone else. I mean i am trying my hardest to convince soon to be married friends of mine to have their honeymoon there but since they have been there in 2008 there is nothing new to lure them to come in late 2011....it used to be easy to lure couples not anymore.

Again, stop just trying to pick a fight and actually read what someone posts before responding. No one dismissed everyone else. Try to leave the hyperbole at the door.

True. Although Start Tours 2 should be interesting. But I see your point.

Actually i do consider Soarin a thrill ride...

I love TOT and RRC, they are not the greatest thrill rides, but the attention to detail Disney did and the theme and whole package are amazing, that is why i love them more than Universal rides....why cant Disney do something like that again....i mean the closest thing you hear about a thrill ride at disney is the fake rumor that they are changing RRC to a Jonas Brothers themed coaster.

Yes, your game. Nice, how you change the whole meaning of the OP. Going from whats the next thrill ride to "Disney does not need anything new because 2 years olds should have fun..." As I recall the tread was to ask about new rides:hammer:. But whatever you need to say to keep people going.

I see. And that's why I never understood the argument "I can go to six flags." Disney's thrill rides can't compare to Six Flags. That's why I want to see them do something like TOT again. But I don't understand what's the hate against thrill rides in WDW.

Rides you may consider thrill rides:
Splash Mountain
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Mission: SPACE
Test Track
Soarin'
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Tower of Terror
Dinosaur
Expedition Everest

10 thrill rides. Yeah I think there can be more also.

Well, if you're not obsessed with Disney and you've been there recently, I could see why you might not want to have your honeymoon there. Perhaps they'd rather go somewhere new they've never been together.

Seriously though, do you not realize the number of teens and adults who aren't big "thrill" riders? Grandmothers who have heart problems? Sure, I don't have numbers, but I do know that I have teenage relatives who absolutely hate your typical roller coasters but who thoroughly enjoy the thrill rides at WDW. Sure we'd all like to see a new thrill ride, but not every new addition is going to be one. Think logically. Thrill rides are like the top tier of a fancy cake. The top tier is always the smallest. Your dark rides and shows and exhibits are what really flesh out the experience.
