Whats your Favorite part of TTA?

On a side note, my son often napped through this when he was little, so DH and I would just stay on for 5 or 6 laps 'til he'd wake up. I love that ride!!!:sohappy:

Anyway, there are so many parts of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority that I call my favorite. Let's start at the beginning:

First of all, I love being in the first car of the train. When the car goes around that first corner and you get the swift breeze, it feels so good.

My absolute favorite part is when you enter Space Mountain. As you go through Star Tunnel, I always close my eyes, relax, and try to enjoy the moment so I can remember it forever. This is literally what I do, and I still remember it. The Star Tunnel music is one of my favorite songs from the Magic Kingdom, and I just love going through the tunnel with my eyes closed. And of course, if the lights are on in Space Mountain, then I quickly get my video camera out and record the area.

After leaving Space Mountain, I love when the TTA goes to the edge of Tomorrowland, right on the corner, where you get the perfect view of the castle. It is such a beautiful spot.

I also enjoy going through Space Ranger Spin and Mickey's Star Traders. Looking at the pictures and displays in the tunnels is fun too.

My second absolute favorite part is when you're nearing the Carousel of Progress, and the voice says "Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow. Your party from Saturn has arrived, please give them a ring." I always get excited when approaching this part, because this is one of my absolute favorite quotes from all of Walt Disney World. I love how the voice announces things and places around you, but this is my favorite.

It's a toss up for me I like the part where it speeds up and then when you get the overview of Tomorrowland. I love going on it at the end of the day it's so relaxing.

That loud booming voice is my favourite thing, also the cool chilled out music as you speed around the loop, total relaxation...

My DS age 9 went on it for the first time this past trip.....we went on a couple of times because he just loved it!

I like when you start to pick up speed around the corner....it's like "And we're off....".

Going through SM is just very cool, and seeing Buzz Lightyear, we kept yelling, "Shoot it, shoot it!".:lol:

Getting to rest your feet and mind for awhile and seeing Tomoorwland at night.....

My favorite, anything but the neon scenes, (minus the model) they look... I don't know, i just don't like it. As always, the ride through space mountain is great, and I like it everytime it picks up speed to move on. Oh yeah... the ramp getting up is good too..

I love how after 14 vacations to the MK since '95, I finally realized that there's more than just one pun in the announcement, "Paging Mr. Morrow... Mr. Tom Morrow, your party from Saturn has arrived. Please give them a ring." I always got the Tom Morrow joke, but recently realized that when they say give them a ring, they mean "give saturn a ring". :hammer: Am I the only one who didn't notice that before?

Dorky Moment: I love the stupid "arms & legs inside the vehicle" sign, because my friend and I posed a la the sign for photos & autographed them for each other before we left.

I look forward to every time the train speeds up and you get that nice breeze on a hot day.

And I love looking for the neon stripes of the Space Mountain rockets when you're in the dark, with the Star Tunnels music playing!!

Final favorite: "NOW APPROACHING WALT DISNEY'S CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS!" I just love the way the man's voice booms that out.

Okay... now I'm gonna cry because I want to go back NOW!

I know how you feel. My family has been going the week after easter the past 14 years, (minus one trip we made in june), and this year it doesn't work out... we're all going through disney withdrawal...

It's funny that you mention that, because I have always liked going past that area, and it has always reminded me of the Jetsons ever since I was little. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who is reminded of them during that part.

I hadn't ever been on the TTA until our trip there last September. Now it may be one of my favorite rides! Just to get above the crowds for a bit and get off our feet is great. And I totally agree... hearing that booming voice call out the destinations is awesome. I'd love to have a mp3 of that.

when the TTA goes through SGE and I can hear Stitch's voice. EVerytime I hear it, it makes me smile.

I can't remember any specific parts of it...although going through SM when the lights are on is pretty cool.
