I'd love to take a trip to Paris! I'd love to see la Tour Eiffel, Notre Dame de Paris, le Louvre, le Sacre Coeur, la Seine, etc.

PS- Sorry I went French on you, I tend to speak in Franglais a lot. Both languages just blend together sometimes. :p
For me, its Charleston. SC, Vegas, and Paris. I go to watch the Tour de France and also the ambiance and food. J'aime manger de crepes chocolat et banane sur Champs - Elysees.

I love the 1000 islands and Adirondacks! They are truly amazing! I have been all over the states and beyond but there is something about simplicity...

@Pumbas Nakasak! Been meaning to ask if you've been to Prague or the Czech Republic at all??? Reason I ask, hubby worked with a guy from there last year who really raved about how beautiful it is there because it was left untouched during the war. Then we heard that the Czech Republic is the nation that is the #1 consumer of beer per capita worldwide. Sounds like my kinda place! Curious if you'd been & what you thought!

My husband and I went about 10 years ago and we loved it. It was very pretty and there was something for everyone's tastes - whether you like night clubs or antique shopping or anything in between. Our hotel was next door to a bar and I remember hearing everyone singing that John Denver song "Rocky Mountain High". I was pregnant at the time, so I couldn't partake in the festivities though. ;) I'm also Czech - both my mom's parents and my dad's came from there.

I think I just threw up a little and I didn't get finished with the second sentence. I never thought of that before. Antiques shopping in Europe. O.M.G. I absolutely looooooove antiques hunting. In Europe??? Are you frickin' kidding me?! Someone just slap me now. That tickles me in ways it really shouldn't!!!!!

That's hysterical about the singing of a John Denver song! I love that! Although my heritage is mostly of Irish descent mixed with a little Hungarian & Austrian, I fear I might go to the Czech Republic and never come home again. LOL!

Traveling in Europe and the UK is an adventure! My trip from St. Andrews to DLP involve a taxi to the bus station, a bus to the train station, the train to another bus to take us to the airport, then a train from the airport to the stop for the shuttle to the resort. Same thing when we did a trip to London. All part of the experience!

Yes ma'am! We brought home an antique tea set! It wasn't a whole set, but I still love it. I even have some hand-painted pieces that one of my great aunts painted dating back to 1944, how cool is that?

Yeah, we didn't expect to hear John Denver in Prague lol. It was great!

Ireland was breathtaking. I'd love to go back and re-visit all the towns we breezed through. Going to Galway for the races was a great experience.

Cancun: Everyone is glad now I dragged them away from the spring break stuff and went to the ruins.

I really want to do Yellowstone and Yosemite trips. I wanted to visit Joshua Tree in April as part of a California trip, but everyone else going would rather head to the coast.

Italy, without a doubt. Spent two weeks there last summer and love. My DS and DH loved it too. When I retire in 10 years, I want to own an apartment there, and of course one near WDW.)

Prague is excellent, but, and its a big but, it is a favourite destination for stag and hen parties, so visit Mon to Fri. Used to be great value but prices have rocketed. There is plenty to see and many good places to eat drink and be a tourist. Thought the Jewish quarter was a bit over priced but you have to see it if you go. There is quite a bit of red light work, especially round Wenceslas square. Yes the beer is a big part of the trip.;)

Budapest is an alternative however.

We visited Prague and Budpest on the same trip. I agree with your assessment. In Budapest we got one of the biggest, best, and least expensive meals we've ever eaten anywhere. I think we tipped more than the cost of the meal.

There are other destinations? No really...any town that is holding a car cruise night or car swap meet. With travel, I'm up for anything. Oahu was a GREAT time. Water all around, beautiful weather, rainforests, volcanos, hiking, snorkling (almost swam into a Sea Turtle when a wave took me), learned to Surf, and the food and beverages that were given in pinapples. This August we are going to California for a wedding so...currently in planning stages for a Walt Disneyland 2-3 day trip (First visit there).
