Oh, now I remember, I was a bride...thinking becomes optional...it's all about feelings! ;)) Mighty, I hope you don't take that as a dig...trust me, a decade from now you'll look back at the insanity you're going through right now and laugh....I hope! ;)

LOL! Just yesterday I said to my mom, "Do the designers think that because I've agreed to be a bride I've lost all sense of style?" Some of the dresses and things are so silly! And I just know that whatever I choose, years from now it will be silly and dated anyway! LOL!

And I hope that I can laugh about it, because right now it's a big hassle!

So far, we've agreed:

~ no "party motivator" to wear stupid things and try to hand out giant sunglasses
~ the first dance will NOT be by a "boy band"
~ I do NOT have to wear a veil over my face, nor do I have to look like a meringue with a too-full tulle or chiffon skirt...

Noah was pretty clear on bride and groom ears at the ceremony or reception (not that I would have wanted it), but I think he would go for them at the parks if it were that important to me....

I have Tigger ears. :)

And a Santa hat with Mickey ears that I wear in December. :)

HAHAHAHAHAAAAAHA!!!!!!!

This thread was soo hilarious. I hated that guy. he was sooo annoying. that's the second fight I saw today. Too bad this one never got to physical. But I think this thread should be deleted if it's a coming soon forum. I mean... it's kinda tainted now. though many people(like me) enjoy that type of thing. wait!!..... this isn't a fighting forum is it??

I mostly agree with what hyperion and talsonic said. I probably would have put something like that is lame, BUT would of had smileys to tell Mom that I was just kidding. And many times people like tramp have made extremely rude comments to others, I think most of what Tramp said in this post was about a hundred times ruder than what hyperion did. Now I dont have anything against tramp or anyone else on these forums, but when people start to be hypocrites about things it is just very sad.

Sorry to bring all that back up but I had to say something.

I am also sorry, in advanced, if I have offended anyone in this post, but like I said earlier I just had to say something. Also I DO NOT have anything against Tramp, I think he is a great person, I just think that what he did was also rude.

Also if you have something to say to me just PM me, but I wont be able to see it till sunday night.

I have an Indiana Jones hat from when the Studios first opened. I wore it all over WDW after that. Dale even stole it off my head... Ahh... the days when I still had hair...

I've stayed completely out of this so far, with not so much as a comment as of yet. I guess that ends here.

Those of you that disagree with Hyperion being banned need to realize that he wasn't banned because of this thread alone. Most of his comments (that I've read) since he became a member have been either rude or condescending, and in some cases towards members that have been here for a long while. Attacking members that have built up a high level of respect around here is like attacking Steve and everyone else that has enjoyed time chatting and responding to this person over time.

Also, a few keep refering to "special" members. In my opinion, there ARE special members around here, and there ARE some who have built up large amount of trust, and are allowed to post accordingly. Steve has trust in their judgement, and well he should. This is, in fact, how the world works in most cases. Those that waltz onto these boards and start talking down to people from day 1 don't last long, and they never will.

Seniority and preferential treatment aren't based on being a premium member, how many posts you have, OR by how long you've been here. It's based on the QUALITY of your time on these boards, and what you contribute, and by contribute I don't mean money, I mean ideas, thoughts, advice and so forth.

Let there be a lesson learned:

Contributing nothing and being consistently rude is a bad combination.

What is your view on blatant profanity? Does seniority justify the use of threats? I thought these were against the rules for all members. Perhaps I need to read the rules again. I didn't make them.

P.S. I have read that Walt cussed like a sailor sometimes. However, he didn't do it in public!

blatant profanity. my personal view, I don't mind it. They are just words to me. As long as every other word isn't 'F' this or 'F' that, I have no problem with cursing.

As for threats, if notifying someone of the potential consequences of their repeated and annoying actions is a threat, then call me threatening. We aren't threatening the person, we merely inform them of the precarious situation they may find themself in.

as for the Walt comment, I find it not rude, but rather innappropriate. I don't know may Disney fans that model their life after him

Blatant profanity IS against the rules. I never said anyone was above the rules. However, every call Steve makes is a JUDGEMENT call, and part of making judgement is looking at who typed it and WHY it was typed.

When someone who hasn't been around long, or someone who is constantly snide in his/her remarks, makes a comment towards a person or persons who truly help make this a great Disney board, they're asking for trouble. An attack back towards them from the members is warranted in my opinion. In this recent case that is exactly what happened, so obviously these same respected members fired back and protected a person they know to be kind and helpful.

The rules DO apply to all, but as I said above, those who have built up respect and shown good judgement in the past are given a little leeway. I think that makes perfect sense.

This Talsonic character is the Eddie Haskell of the forum...comes on with this polite, calm, high moral tone...all the while stirring the pot with trouble...he's done it here and he's done it elsewhere...

...yeah, my language was totally inappropriate and I regret using it...but at least I feel passionate enuf about something to lose my temper once in awhile...I never start trouble, unlike EDDIE, who trolls the forum making adversarial remarks about what I've done or said...I told him to stop doing this yet here he is again, sticking his nose where it doesn't belong....prolonging the argument when it isn't necessary....this is MORE damaging and MORE polarizing to the forum than ANY profanity.

...EDDIE, you don't like it here, you don't like us and you don't like the administrator....mostly, you don't like that you will NEVER be accepted as part of the gang.......so why don't you take your sorry butt out thru the door you came in...

I'm really getting sick of this guy!
