In 2019 they spent 4.9 billion, 4.1 billion went to the parks. So could be close to 5 billion. The problem is they now throw everything into the same pot…thanks to “strategic reorganization”
If this was 10 years ago and they said $6,000,000,000 for “parks and resorts”…there was little ambiguity on how to BS that number.
This could be for racks at Target…for all we know
So that less people see their disappointment? That’s about the worst time I can think of? Why not 8:30 EST during the ceremony/speech?
Well I'm not sure if that's pst or estThat’s about the worst time I can think of? Why not 8:30 EST during the ceremony/speech?
Lol, I would hope that Target builds/owns the racks and Disney just supplies the goods. The problem is they now throw everything into the same pot…thanks to “strategic reorganization”

It's also a Sunday so it's not like people will be busy at work. Going to be pretty easy to watch. That’s about the worst time I can think of? Why not 8:30 EST during the ceremony/speech?
If I were to believe that number…and again, they’re nothing stopping chapek from lying about it…I’d say at least half would be gobble up by cruiseline…Lol, I would hope that Target builds/owns the racks and Disney just supplies the goods.
But I get your point. It is a large umbrella. I am all for more DCL ships and the LP project, but I need expansion at WDW. Give us more World Showcase rides (not movies). So many country based rides are possible.
So no Brazil?Disney will announce some things. We’ll all get excited. Then when we get the delivered product in 4 years it’ll have been scaled down significantly or cancelled completely. Rinse and repeat for next years D23
Not sure, but I bet we’ll see a new popcorn bucket soonSo no Brazil?

Anyone remember on what?In 2019 they spent 4.9 billion, 4.1 billion went to the parks. So could be close to 5 billion.
The six billion in capex was mentioned as being an annual number. The two new ships and island would eat up half of one year of that.If I were to believe that number…and again, they’re nothing stopping chapek from lying about it…I’d say at least half would be gobble up by cruiseline…
Also remember that Paris is in that basket now too.
As always…I hope in wrong. A nice investment in Florida is needed - as always
Lying to investors is generally a bad idea. If you want to mislead them to make them happier you aren’t going to inflate your expenses. If anything they would tell investors a lower number.Take whatever they "say to investors" with a grain of salt (this goes for all companies on the planet). Their job is to paint a great picture, give investors confidence, etc.
We’ll see…The six billion in capex was mentioned as being an annual number. The two new ships and island would eat up half of one year of that.

Both of which were announced years ago and are already nearing completion and TWDC is not responsible for their entire construction costs.Shopping with the other parks globally getting big expansions like Frozen Land, Zootopia, etc.
