what was the worst food you had in Disney?

We did NOT enjoy anything at the Sci-Fi diner (food-wise, otherwise the shakes were great), or the 50's Prime Time Café. Everything at ABC Commissary is disgusting....everything. With the exception of the quick outdoors place near ToT and RnRC, there isn't much at DHS in the way of decent food.

On the other hand, I did enjoy my last pizza at Pizza Planet (although it is better at Pizzafari in AK) and I do think Pecos Bill's actually has the best burgers in WDW.

I have 2 places. Les chefs is first. Food just horrible, french onion soup with no onions and very bland, like dirty water. The braised short rib dish was cold, fatty, and chewy. The lobster mac was also bland, dried out, and had no lobster, what the ----? My second choice is hollywood and vine. Abuffet full of crap. Dried out meats, cold sauces, no flavors. Just aweful. Both places had poor service, and they both looked run down, didn't even want to use the bathrooms bad!

I think pretty much any burger from any CS any where on property. .

Why do they show you a picture of a burger with lettuce , tomato etc and then give it to you plain in a bun , & I got an ice cream sunday at typhoon lagoon which said cream and a cherry on the description but was just plain soft serve.
it wouldn't be allowed over here

I have to agree with the room service pizza, we ordered one at the Wilderness Lodge once, horrible an inch of cheese with ketchup underneath

Worst thing I ever had was a turkey sandwich from Cafe Rix at Coronado Springs, I ended up with food posioning.:( Luckily it was out last day and we had planned on going to BB but it had been closed due to rain so I got to rest all day.

The worst for me were the overly sweet cream cheese-filled soft pretzels sold in the Magic Kingdom. My fiancé and I took a couple bites each before we gave up and threw it out.

Coral Reef all around bad food and experience.
Elsewhere - Akerhause - one item - smoked fish (Halibut I think) did not like the taste but then again it was a new experience for me so I have nothing to compare it to. I think that was more of a taste preference instead of how it was presented. Just was not for me.

It's interesting how we all have such differing opinions on foods...Just goes to show you can't please everyone.

That being said I haven't seen anyone with positive remarks on Hollywood and Vine. We were there once and all I remember from the experience was that we didn't want to go back and my 10 month old son was scared out of his wits by The Little Einstein characters...

I second Hollywood and Vine's buffet. I also thought Chef Mickey's was gross (dinner). Maybe I actually don't like buffets now that I think about it. Breakfast buffets seem to be better.

Another vote for ABC. No one in our group liked it. But I love the burger at Soundstage. And it's just a CS burger. We did Hollywood & Vine back before it was character and it was outstanding. Tried it again last year. Not very good. Other than that I've enjoyed everything else.

For me, it would be the lobster orecchiette pasta at the Coral Reef. It wasn't awful: just "sorta bad", and for nearly $30, I expected it to be decidedly good! The pasta and lobster (what little, ardly bits of it there were -- perhaps Disney expected me to welcome the hunt for lobster in my bowl as a sort of "bonus" NextGen adventure) were both overcooked, the basil oil was nonexistent, and the cheese sauce was flavorless, gritty and stubbornly coated the roof of my mouth, resisting all efforts to rinse it out. If Kraft macaroni and cheese manages to be flavorful and creamy and costs me 89 cents, then I expect my $26 Disney lobster orecchiette pasta to at least accomplish the same. I've heard others rave about this dish, so perhaps my meal was just an anomaly, but I'll certainly not be trying it again!

For my husband, it was the meatloaf at 50's Prime Time. He loves meatloaf, and he loves all different kinds of it, but he said this one was cold, dry and flavorless. In fact, it so turned him off that his only request when I asked about ADRs for our next trip was, "I'm happy to go wherever anybody else wants, but please, can we not go back to the Prime Time Cafe?"

I would have to say Hollywood and Vine buffett at dinner time

and my worst was a Caesar salad at the Saratoga Springs Artist Pointe when my wife and I both got food poisoning from it, around the same time that night which killed a day and half of our trip

The worst thing I ever had was a burger at the Sci-Fi. The bun completely disintegrated when I'd try to lift it, so I ate the lukewarm party with a fork. Even that was bad. Fries were overcooked and lukewarm, as well. Pop had too much soda and not enough syrup. HORRIBLE MEAL. If I were a person who complained In restaurants, I'd have bitched up a storm about that meal. It is a really fun experience, though. I love the movie clips and the whole place is cool to see.

I'll echo a pp and say I don't care for the taco meat at Pecos Bill's either. It does have a strange consistency...and tastes burnt to me. I was so sure the first had to be a fluke that I tried anther a few months later - same. I do like the place and IMO the burgers are fine...you have to wait forever for them, but they're good. :)

Okay this worries me because I just booked a reservation for Sci Fi. Well, maybe it won't happen to me because I don't eat meat, but still.. Eh, I'll get a veggie burger :p

Sometime in the 90's... I would have been in the 8-12 range... it was definitely a burger and I think it came from the Pinocchio Village Haus. It had some kind of weird "sauce" or juice all over the beef. I'll eat the standard Disney burger without reservation but this was... different. I still harbor a little resentment towards Pinocchio to this day. I remember my mom yelled at me for not eating, until she tried it.

Ah, the early days at Pinocchio's. My mom told me a
Story before, that when she ordered the burger when her and my aunt went, the burger WAS NOT COOKED, and, here's the worst part, HAD A BONE IN IT! Ew!
But we tried Pinocchio's last year, and man, that was the best flatbread pizza I've ever eaten!

Any counter service burger. Ugh. I've tried twice, never again.

That story is a bit unusual. The burger is usually the only thing people like at Sci-Fi, haha.

I can be pretty critical of most any food, but very rarely do I call something horrible or disgusting.

Cape May is both horrible and disgusting. Damn near eveything on the buffet, including desserts, were just plan bad.
