what was the worst food you had in Disney?

Hands down the "lobster roll" at Columbia Harbour House at MK. The menu pictures a great looking traditional lobster roll and what they serve is a thin sandwich on regular sliced brown bread with a tasteless lobster paste. It's the only really bad dining experience I've had on my many trips so it's a real stand out.

The worst I remember was at Pop Century a few years back. I got a Cheesesteak sandwich. It was on a paper plate (no problem) and when I got to my table and had a chance to look at it, it was literally sitting in a huge puddle of grease. I'm talking saturated. The roll disintegrated because you could wring it out it was so wet with grease. I'm not exaggerating here. I thought, well, once I wring the grease out, it might taste OK. Well, it tasted like grease. The plus side was that it was easy to eat, you didn't even have to swallow. It just slid down your throat.

I won't lie I'm actually slightly hungry reading that,

I think the biggest crime so far is disney has yet to introduce fat sandwiches. if people will drive an hour to go to rutgers at 2:30 am for them (or the higher quality, nelly's in long branch) , Disney would probably sell a few to say the least.

Suprisingly, I'd have to say dinner at Crystal Palace was our worst meal. The food itself Im referring to, as the ambiance was great. The food wasnt horrible, it just didnt live up anywhere close to all the positive reviews I had read. On the flipside I had read a ton of negative reviews about Tonys and I found it to be not bad at all. Meh... It's probably just me. I'm from Toronto and we pretty much live in bizarro world here anyway. :s

Sci Fi... worst experience ever. blech.

Last summer, my DD got food poisoning from flat bread pizza at Capn Cooks in the Poly.. never again.

We didn't care for Akerhaus princess breakfast when it originally started, but we tried it 2 weeks ago, and it had changed, so it isn't as horrific as I remember it.

My worst was the sushi from Japan in EPCOT. With misplaced optimism I ordered some sushi from the food stall. I handed over my $348.50, they handed me over six sushi pieces still in a pre-packed plastic supermarket packaging. o_O It tasted worse than what you buy at the frozen food section of Walmart.

Sometime in the 90's... I would have been in the 8-12 range... it was definitely a burger and I think it came from the Pinocchio Village Haus. It had some kind of weird "sauce" or juice all over the beef. I'll eat the standard Disney burger without reservation but this was... different. I still harbor a little resentment towards Pinocchio to this day. I remember my mom yelled at me for not eating, until she tried it.

Most of the quick service chicken I have ever had (nuggets, strips, etc...) have been dry and bland. Two quick service places I will do my best to avoid in the future will be Electric Umbrella and Cosmic Ray's. The taste of the food in relation to the price I paid is not worth it.

I will agree that there was absolutely nothing spectacular about the food there.

The one time I went there, I was traveling solo and was given a table in the play cars. I'm a pretty good sized person so it was tight, but I didn't complain, I was only going to be there for lunch. It took nearly 30 minutes before I even saw a wait person. Then another 30 minutes before I got my lunch. When it came time to leave, they gave me the check, (that didn't take long at all) it was over $100.00 for one lunch (burger if I remember). I called the person over and asked why it was this high and how come there was so many items on it. She said, well there are five of you and that's what everyone had. I looked at her and said where do you see 5 people with me. She said, there was me and the 4 people in the booth in front of me. After I told her that not only was I not paying for their meal, I didn't even have clue who they were. After questioning a little further, we found out that at some point I had asked for the catsup, because I didn't have any on my table. She saw it and assumed we were all together. The only words that passed between us were "please pass me the catsup, I didn't get any! That was it. How she made the decision that I was the Payer was beyond me. It got straightened out but over 2 and half hours were thrown away just for lunch. Haven't been in since then. I was pretty damn sick of that movie preview loop by the time I left.

have you tried the fruishi though?! I think it's less then 5 bucks at the garden festival. ( does Disney really even have many other tastey fakes at any food place? I can't take seafood so this is as close as
I'm getting to sushi ever)

...fruishi...I had to google that. Unsurprisingly, it is sushi made with fruit. Yum! Must give that a try! Hope they'll have it next time I'm in WS!

Liberty Tree bad food smothered in too much gravey. Wouldnt have fed it to my dog (if I had one)

The other was at the now closed resturant in Italy. It was our most expensive meal of our "06 visit and by far the worst.

During the soft opening of the New Fantasyland we ate lunch at Be Our Guest. I had the French onion soup and the steak sandwich.
The soup was pretty good but the sandwich was terrible. As cold as ice and so tough I literally could not bite into it.

I'm surprised to hear all of the discontent with Pecos Bills and ABC commissary. I always thought they served the same food as the rest of the qs restaurants. I'm probably just blinded by nostalgia.

Me and my bro hated Ohana because everything we ate had bad sauces we were 7 and 9 so of course we didn't like that it. We ate the welcoming bread for dinner:)
