That's the issue.. the crude piece is so not Disney's image (thus far), like Simpsons being in the park would make me not want to go to Hollywood Studios, I feel like it will cheapen it
The Simpsons at a Disney park ???

Please be serious. šŸ˜‚
Keep in mind this is the SAME THEME PARK at one moment in time had a stage show...Based on WB's Ace Ventura..

I do feel that there isn't really anything new when it comes to The Simpsons that Disney can build that Universal already hasn't. A Simpson's Land without Duff Beer, Mo's Tavern, and Krusty Burger wouldn't make sense but Universal have already done those quite well. I personally would prefer either making a larger Incredibles area than the Pixar Plaza is or Inside Out as I feel like it could be a large indoor land with a completely different asethetic to any other land in the park

Just my opinion ... if they are really going to announce this outside of a convention, the week of EU opening & in the midst of several other attractions already being built at the resort. It has to be for a bigger IP than Simpsons.

If they really want to take the attention away ... If they want an actual win. My guess is they have secured Marvel rights for Animation Courtyard.

Otherwise, no need for a big splashy announcement.

A Simpsons announcement will not garner any media attention strong enough to pull attention away from EU.

I don't think anyone seriously wants it... But based on what some people (who usually know things) have said in the past, it's a possibility.
But whatā€™s the point ?

Universal has had a Simpsons Land for the past decade plus why should Disney capitalize on something thatā€™s been sucked dry already ?

Plus they have several IP that are not even utilized to their fullest potential and that deserve a proper attraction like the Incredibles.

The only thing that would really draw attention from theme park fans on that day would be the announcement of a new Journey Into Imagination and the return of Dreamfinder.

This would be amazing! Even though Marvel is not in a great spot in the current moment, the history of Marvel would make a compelling argument!

Just build something better than Spiderman in DCA!

Well, they canā€™t use Horton (Universal) or Penauts (Knottā€™s). And really, other than Ice Age and arguably Rio, are any of the other Blue Sky properties relevant?

I think Rio could be a neat addition to Tropical Americas, specifically the music. I can picture a streetmosphere band including some of those songs in their sets.

That really only leaves Ice Age for parks use, and I think DAK would be the logical choice. Now that Dinoland is gone, thereā€™s no representation for extinct animals. If Disney wanted to return to that well (and if ice Age 6 is successful) thereā€™s no better IP in their library.

An overseas park Known as Genting Skyworld has several lands themed to past Blue Sky films.
Rio Samba Gliders

Sounds of Rio show

Robots Rivet Town Rollers

Epic Voyage to Moonhaven

and Their two big Ice Age rides..

How many times have we gone over that Universal is NOT giving up the Marvel rights?
Agree to disagree.

Universal will come to a point (or already has) where promoting a Disney owned property makes no sense for them in the longterm. Even if it is Marvel Comics and not MCU.

Furthermore, Marvel superhero island is getting a bit long in the tooth ... and they have several properties that they could put in that space.
