Thrill Seeker had a great for UoE in the Imagineering sections which involved the pavilion getting converted to an Omnimover system. It is a great idea but I personally want to see the pavilion stay as is.

I voted Omni because it's easier and might lead to a more inclusive attraction.

HOWEVER, they should and could keep the current layout. It just needs new films. And I would HATE to loose the theater cars...

God bless the "Ignore" button.
I don't think I could take a firm stance on this issue. I honestly don't even LIKE the ride that much, but it's a classic, and incredibly unique!

I like the ride and its something I'll always do, but most likely there is no re-ride value and I think they need something a little shorter. If they made the video shorter, they could bring in more people and if it was fun and interesting enough, people may consider a second ride.

Also maybe some more seating in there, cause they made everyone stand the whole time in the theater room. Being tired and in the heat all day doesn't agree with the intro.

You'll wish you were standing after the 37 minute ride. Actually it does have a high re-ridability for someone who loves it (like me!)

I think the current system should stay; I knew what to expect but the rest of my party was very pleasantly surprised by the theater cars (although it rather gave away the game that UoE was closed for most of the day earlier and had reopened when we arrived with the center set of cars roped off). I loved the tracked portion, and the movie was amusing although dated. I think the whole experience is a mite too long. Incidentally, I also love the building's new (old :)) paint scheme. Speaking of the movie, I like Ellen DeGeneres and find her funny, but some members of my party had to be compelled (read: begged :)) to ride UoE because they don't care for her comedic style. I found her very engaging and humorous, and I like her style of comedy. Do you think she should be retained? I'm not sure how major she was at the time (although I know she had her own sitcom), but she is definitely no longer a major mainstream star in my opinion and should perhaps be replaced with someone more relevant. Bill Nye should also, I think, perhaps be replaced. Certainly the movie should be replaced, and UoE's no longer being tied to ExxonMobil might give the film more freedom to explore different alternative energy topics. Perhaps a brief walkthrough might be added at the end with displays like the hydrogen ion fuel cell display at the end of Test Track in the GM showroom? This way the various exhibits could be replaced to be kept modern.

I wonder what the new paint job signifies...:lookaroun It's still pretty random.

I agree.

I've always loved UoE...I remember it from my very first trip and it has always been very cool and unique to me.
But I'd would like to see a little updating here and there. The Ellen/Jeopardy part needs to be updated ASAP.

In my opinion the current version has one of the best scores out of any Disney park. Can't go wrong with Broughton.:)

I think that the theater cars & some of the current effects should stay but the overall ride should be updated to reflect its title - the UNIVERSE of Energy. It should, in a fun and interesting way, reflect all of the energy alternatives that there are now and could be in the future.

I'll leave the details to the Imagineers.

Not only would it be more relevant to today's issues, but it would hearken back to the original Epcot Center idea of showing new technologies.

Of all the FW Pavs, I think that the UoE would be the easiest to bring back to that type of a attraction.

Ride system should be kept as is because it us unique. Ellen should go and no one should ever speak if her again.

The theme should be brought more than than up to date and be about futuristic energy sources like fuel cells. Maybe include 3D for one of the movies.

Make it matter again and don't take the cheap way out and add characters like TLS!
