surprisingly mission SPACE was designed to fit the carousel building. According to a WDI friend i used to commute with, the attraction was postpone and eventually cancelled by TDA and Burbank soon after the bad press in WDW when the child passed away in 2005. Eventhough the boy had previous medical conditions they felt it was good to not do the large investment.Mission Space is one of the worst rides Disney has ever made because of its excessive g forces that make your face feel like it's melting. The less intense version also sucks.
I thought this was replaced by Launch Bay? Or is this where they used to show Captain Eo?
Oh ok thanks. So what replaced Captain Eo then?It is currently being used for Star Wars Launch Bay. But there isn’t any substance to it. It’s like walking through a nearly fully-shuddered Star Wars indoor mall... Disneyland has a much better Star Wars mall (and it’s an outlet mall) within walking distance of the Launch Bay.
Movie previews.Oh ok thanks. So what replaced Captain Eo then?
A continuous cycle of upcoming Disney films soon to be released. They basically replaced Captian Eo with movie trailers you could watch on your phone.Oh ok thanks. So what replaced Captain Eo then?
They should bring back Honey I Shrunk the Audience because the franchise getting another movie next year.A continuous cycle of upcoming Disney films soon to be released. They basically replaced Captian Eo with movie trailers you could watch on your phone.
I'd rather see the area turned back into an outdoor stage than have another rerelease of a bad 3D movie.Do you guys not like Honey I Shrunk the Audience? Sorry but it will be much better to have that then crappy Disney trailers.
Wrong location, this is talking about the carousel theater (AKA Star Wars Launch Bay). They should bring back Honey I Shrunk the Audience because the franchise getting another movie next year.
I guess I can see your point. But knowing Disney they will put it back in the Tomorrow Land theater to coincide with the new movie.I'd rather see the area turned back into an outdoor stage than have another rerelease of a bad 3D movie.
I know they were referencing the Tomorrow Land theater where Captain Eo was when I made my suggestion.Wrong location, this is talking about the carousel theater (AKA Star Wars Launch Bay).
They probably will since it is a flex theater. The studios pay for that kind of advertising not the parks. Whatever the studio wants, the park will have to do.I guess I can see your point. But knowing Disney they will put it back in the Tomorrow Land theater to coincide with the new movie.
Yeah that's current Disney. I wish Tony Baxter was still in the company to overhaul Tomorrow Land like the one at Paris. They probably will since it is a flex theater. The studios pay for that kind of advertising not the parks. Whatever the studio wants, the park will have to do.

I agree on that unless it's Muppet Vision, Philarmagic, and it's tough to be a bug. Those ones are great because they also have great AA's and have a really fun atmosphere. Those 4-d movie theaters are fun the first, ok the second time and then you skip them.
