What should be done with the Carrousel theater (Tomorrowland Expo Center) in Tomorrowland?

What should Disney do to the Carrousel theater space?

Mission Space is one of the worst rides Disney has ever made because of its excessive g forces that make your face feel like it's melting. The less intense version also sucks.
surprisingly mission SPACE was designed to fit the carousel building. According to a WDI friend i used to commute with, the attraction was postpone and eventually cancelled by TDA and Burbank soon after the bad press in WDW when the child passed away in 2005. Eventhough the boy had previous medical conditions they felt it was good to not do the large investment.

Its Interesting that Disneyland's Tomorrowland has suffered at least three times from WDW issues.

1) Alien encounters designed for Disneyland but in house squabble held project and WDW pushed for construction to build and open first = WDW botched the opening and gave WDI senior members more amunition to force the canceltion of Disneylands construction

2) Budget cut for tommorowland re-do and for rocket rods caused by GM pulling funds for sponsorship after WDW issues caused GM to loose millions. The opening delayed for over a year after GM had it all planned for a huge promotional campaign. GM was forced to re-do budgets and pulled sponsorship from Disneyland to balance spreadsheet

3) then SPACE

While I understand not only shuttering but demolishing into a cube an unpopular walk-on dark ride for a cutting edge space thrill ride, the concept was way cooler than execution. It was a disappointment to me anyway and it still doesn't seem to excite people or draw crowds that such a major E Ticket should. Test Track and Soarin' were big hits, Mission Space is a flop.

I thought this was replaced by Launch Bay? Or is this where they used to show Captain Eo?

It is currently being used for Star Wars Launch Bay. But there isn’t any substance to it. It’s like walking through a nearly fully-shuddered Star Wars indoor mall... Disneyland has a much better Star Wars mall (and it’s an outlet mall) within walking distance of the Launch Bay.

Oh ok thanks. So what replaced Captain Eo then?

A continuous cycle of upcoming Disney films soon to be released. They basically replaced Captian Eo with movie trailers you could watch on your phone.

Disney is going to need some people eaters that can still keep social distancing for a bit, so turning this back into a rotating theater (perhaps even a second theater on the second story) would accomplish this quite nicely and do so relatively affordably, they have animatronics from closed shows that could be recycled. And having a new theater every 5 minutes would be very valuable.
