1.Two more attractions at pixar Place
2.Replace sounds dangerous
3.E-Ticket ride where the backlot tour is
4.E-Ticket ride where Indiana Jones is
5.And make Star Tours 2!!!!

Hopefully Harry Potter, The Simpsons, and Hollywood Rockit, at Universal will make Disney due more to the Studios even though they don't have to .

They build Mgm in order to distract attention from Universal. So why not more rides at Disney to distract on these huge future projects.:sohappy:

I can comfortably spend a full day at DHS.

I guess that means I've already solved the problem! :D

A water based type ride would do VERY Good..The animation courtyard really lacks rides..
It'd be nice to see something like a Mickey's Hollywood Backlot and have more characters in the area..

I would be happy if they added an Indy ride. For me one more E-ticket ride would make that park worth an entire day. Thanks in large part to TSM I spent a lot more time in DHS on our last visit.

LOVE DHS. There are so many new things there this summer than when I was there last summer and I am excited to see them all. We, too, spend a full day at DHS and even go back for another full day or two during our trip....shops, shows, street performers, parades, characters, exciting music, rides...all wonderful. I am always up for adding more to any park because then there is even more for me to love but I spend a full day there already and love every minute of it!!

Too late, it already is! On the first Star Wars Weekends I spent all day (9AM to 9PM) and I didn't even get to Tower of Terror and most of the shows.

I was thinking the same thing. We always spend at least 2 full days of our trip at DHS.

It really bugs me everytime I hear someone say DHS is a half-day park, because it definitely isn't...going to a Disney park really isn't about hitting up all the E-Ticket rides and saying you've conquered all of the attractions, and now it's boring. You have to take in the details and time imagineers and cast members put into the park...I don't know, but that's just me. I could spend a whole damn week there if I could. There's just a lot to explore and do.

The thing is, concerning the Indy ride, it wouldn't make as much sense to bring in the Indiana Jones Adventure from DL, as it has the same track layout as Dinosaur. They should either make the same ride with a different layout, or a whole different ride altogether, to replace the stunt show. Personally, I would prefer the latter, as it seems that every new concept these days are being placed in both parks, as though they want both parks to be exactly the same, which kind of decreases the originality to each of them.

Same here. Although due to time constraints, we often try to do both AK and MGM in the same day. But that has nothing to do with those two parks not being sufficient full day parks, just that MK and Epcot have more to offer. I could spend several days at any of the parks per trip.

I've said it before in a bazillion other threads and I'll say it again...I have no problem at all making DHS a full day park. In fact, we always schedule two days at DHS. When you factor in the rides, shows attractions, slowing down to take in the fantastic street performers, dining and allowing time to check out some of the great shops at DHS(some of our favorite shopping at WDW) you can EASILY make DHS a full day park, if not two.

Major (my evaluation) attractions at DHS currently include...

Tower of Terror
Rock n Roller Coaster
Great Movie Ride
Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular
Star Tours
Lights Motors Action
MuppetVision 3-D
Toy Story Mania

Second tier attactions (again my evaluation) include

Animation (whatever it's called)
Backlot Tour
Sounds Dangerous
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
Playhouse Disney Live on Stage
High School Musical whatever it is
One Man's Dream
The Narnia thingy

Plus there are mutliple good restaurants, a parade, excellent streetmosphere, and Fantasmic.

It is a full-day park, unless many of these attractions are not appealing to you.

And that is the case with many of them. Updates to GMR (not just the ending film montage), Star Tours, and the Indiana Jones show are overdue, IMHO. And Sounds Dangerous is as lame as it gets at Disney -- switch it back to the Monster Sound Show and you'd make me happy. I'd rather have Superstar TV than the cominn American Idol, but you take what you can get.

So, while I think there is work needed, it isn't to restore it to a full-day park, but to make it a 2-day park, as far as I'm concerned.

I diffidently think its a full day park, but then again I hate running through a park like my a$$ is on fire, I like to take my time and enjoy my day....but thats just me.

Good point, My last time to DHS, I actually did only a few of the E-Tickets at the park, and instead opted for more of the slower paced attractions. I still would love the addition of an Indy themed ride, but there are so many other great options that could be used instead since there is already the stunt show. Excluding Sounds Dangerous(in my opinion), DHS is a great park

Like many of you, I could easily spend a day at DHS, if not more. I usually don't because MK and Epcot have more to offer for my limited time in WDW.

DHS just needs to expand on the great stuff it already has:
1. Add more rides - the park has enough shows already, we need more rides. The open ended theme of the park leaves room for extraordinary potential. This park will keep getting better with more rides.

2. Indiana Jones - LMA satisfies the need for a stunt show. Give us that awesome Indy ride! I don't buy the argument about the same layout as CTX. No one will realize.

3. The Backlot Tour must go. - this ride has really ran its course and there's no filming going on there anymore. It takes up valuable space for a huge e-ticket or smaller rides.

4. Expand pixar place. - I'd love more pixar in the parks. The movies are great and have much ride potential.

5. Replace Sounds Dangerous.

6. Hurry up with Star Tours 2!

While I agree there is enough to do at DHS to last a whole day, I never stay there more than 5 hours. In April we were there for less than 2 hours. Why? Because it's so small that it tends to be over crowded. I cannot stand large crowds. So for me DHS would have to grow a few hundred acres before I can stay longer than a few hours anymore.

Our family never spends a whole day at DHS. It's not a bad park (think if it was just by itself and not part of Disney) I just think the other parks have more to offer at a family stand point(my mom and sister won't step a foot on RnR or ToT). We are a huge MK family so we go to DHS and right back over to MK. I guess we just prefer the other parks more than this one.

To answer the question literally, all you have to do to make it a full day park is stay the full day. There's plenty to do.

If, on the other hand, you think the park only has the Tower of Terror and RockNRoller Coaster, then none of Disney's parks are full day parks nor will they be.

This is not coaster world. I hope it never becomes coaster world.
