My son singing the Imperial March. It's hilarious when he's not with me and the phone rings - people start looking all over for the singing kid!

I got the Android Incredible and sadly you can't have more than one ringtone. Until I figure out how I can have more I just have The Final Fantasy VII Fanfare going.

Sounds like you need to download the RINGDROID app. This app will allow you have different ring tones for Text, email and phone!!!

Ringtone for calls in general- Sympathy for the devil by the Rollings Stones.

Ringtone for my wife- Brown eyed girl by Van Morrison.

Ringtone for my children- Seven nation army by The White Stripes.

Ringtone from my other female friends- He hit me(It felt like a kiss) Carol King version.



Jimmy Thick-Better music than Disney stuff for ringtones...

For calls mine is the opening speech from the Haunted Mansion.

For facebook alerts it's A Pirates Life for Me

and for texts the door sound from Star Tours.:)

At the moment mine is the Epcot entrance area background music for phone calls and Wishes for texts. I don't use alerts for email or anything else, other than the notification on the screen.

What apps, if any, are you guys using to apply the sounds? I am using an Atrix running 2.2 and have yet to find a way to apply anything other than preset sound to anything other than my ringtone.

I use the RINGDROID app (my verizon rep told me about it)..its a free app in the Marketplace and it allows you to change the type of ringtone it is. It seem like all tone automatically get set to a "ring tone" and if you want it as a notifiction tone you have to change it useing the RIGNGROID app. I think this is what your asking.

Here's my lineup of ringtones (I swap them out randomly, and it's so easy to make my own now that I have an iPhone!):

My old Android phones allowed for custom text tones (the only flaw about the iPhone is that I can't customize text tones!). I used to rotate between two:

The Jetsons Doorbell
Monorail Chime


Might be time to freshen up the ole ringtones before my next trip (71 days :sohappy:).
