Wow, most of what everybody else has mentioned. I can't believe I'm the only one with this memory though.... the Crazy Pills thread! A senseless thread started to put all other senseless threads to rest! "I feel like I am taking crazy pills" is definitely a more refined part of my daily vocabulary.

I love the "Picture of the Day" threads. A lot of people here are very talented when it comes to taking pictures.

And it is also great to have a place where I can converse with people who are as passionate about Disney as I am.

I'm going to take that as a compliment. Little does anyone know, but it takes me 1000 + photos just to get a good one.

psst..... don't tell anyone :zipit:

There was a pretty good one last summer that got pretty heated about LaL, surprised no one has mentioned that.

As for the rest, I think most of them have been mentioned.

It's pretty good around here. Even when things get heated, most of the time people are respectful to others. I think it's easy to find fault in getting so passionate about WDW, but I think it's good to be passionate about things, and, if that passion doesn't devolve to personal attacks (which it so easily can...even among normally level-headed folks), that's great. I think we have that 'perfect balance' here.

It's also nice to see the close relationships between posters here (those posters on the Scrapbooking sub-forum are the best example of this I've ever seen on a discussion board)!

Wow just reading this thread made me laugh. It's crazy that the internet can bring a bunch of crazy WDW lovers from all over the world together and create such great, funny moments.

I wouldn't be able to pick my favorite memories from this board b/c there's too many! I've only been around for a short while but I feel like I'm part of WDWMagic - and I'd like to say thank you for that! There's not too many boards out there that have this kind of community. I think we should all be proud of WDWMagic!

(I do love reading TR - if I had to pick a favorite around here!)

I must admit that there was one thread that had me laughing so hard that I started crying.

Does anyone else remember a thread about a certain poster getting stuck behind the washing machine at All-Stars? :lookaroun

My other favorites are the ones that involved watching posters grow and change. Many posters were single, high school students when I joined, and are now in college...and beyond! I've watched some of you fall in love, get married, and start families. I've seen others drift away, or sadly, I suspect that one or two have passed on. :(

But I enjoyed seeing some "old" names pop up, such as Maria & Grizz, and seeing so many people who have stayed despite trolls and arguments.

The people on this forum have helped me through some of my worst days (9-11 and both of my parents dying) proudest moments (My daughter's college search, HS graduation, leaving home for school, college graduation, and finally, living on her own) and are patting my hand (there, there) as my youngest prepares to fly away in a few years. Hopefully, I'll still be posting when I fill the roles of MOB, MOG, and finally, Grandma. :)

And Fizzle, sorry for the scare.

My favorites include:
A "ride videos" thread I started a few years that ultimately lead to a great friendship with our resident attractions video master - Martin Smith (marni1971).
The "Blood on the Saddle" is offensive thread.
And, of course, the many death of the Wand threads. If only there were some chronicling the death of the Hat and Leave a Legacy...

YES, that was some funny stuff! I almost mentioned it earlier, but didn't because I think it happened before my time here. It was already a "remember when" the first time I heard about it.
