What is wrong with you people?

I quote a great line from Agent K in MIB, "A person is smart, but people are stupid and you know it!"

Sometimes as I walk through the parks I feel like Scar and whisper to my wife, "I'm surrounded by idiots."

I cannot believe how stupid some tourists act. It never ceases to amaze me how low they can sink on the evolutionary chain.

I think people behave themselves better at Disney World than elsewhere. There are exceptions.

Disney CM usually do a great job taking care of the problem-makers. So guests don't have to put up with them.

Thank you, Disney cast members!

PS. Ahem. I'm sorry about that little run-in at the parade 2 years ago.

She deserved it.

I agree with everyone here that there are TONS of morons at WDW everyday. However, if we look at it statistically, my guess is that it is not worse at WDW than anywhere else. There are just as many morons elsewhere, but we probably just don't notice it as much when we're not on vacation trying to relax.

Actually, it may be hard to believe, but there are people who are more ignorant, and more of them, at Sea World, Busch Gardens, and Universal. Disney seems to attract what I call the "cream of the crap!" along with those of us who are bright. :)

While waiting for Illuminations to start we were eatting a snack at the American pavillion and this family (parents, grandparents and 4 kids) had let their 10 year old son climb into a highchair...they were laughing and taking photos..thought it was very cute and funny....well guess what.... the kid got stuck..they were all in a panic and didnt speak a word of English...a CM had to get a maintenance worker to disassemble the highchair..with the boy in it...one slip of the screwdriver and that boy would have been one unhappy boy! My husband couldn't believe anyone could be so dumb!

The only reason the idiots come back is becuase back when they were kids their parents were idiots just like them. And from all the posts I see it isnt hard to reproduce more.

Hmmm a story from me, well lets see, I remember being in line at Men In Black at Universal and a guest was yelling at a employee and they both started fighting. I think another employee had to come and hold back the guest. I don't know what happened to them after that.

I've seen my share of idiots too. This past June when me and my girlfriend took her disabled parents to Disney, we were going to watch Illuminations. Well as just about everyone knows, there are sections roped off for people who are disabled or handicapped. This woman and her 2 daughters proceeded to sit inside anyways. This CM saw them sitting there and walked up and politely asked her if they are not with anyone that is disabled to please move outside the ropes to make room for those who are disabled. She replys that she has just as much right to sit there as them "cripple a--es" as SHE paid good money to come to the park. The CM reminded her that this area is designated for the disabled, she them turned back around as to ignore him. Shortly he returned with security and funny thing.. after the security guard asked her if she'd like to move or leave the park, oddly enough she moved..

Another story from the same trip.. we were in front of HM at MK. Both of my GF's parents were on ECVs. Some guy behind all of us in line(and yes we DID wait in line just like everyone else) started making sneer comments about the ECVs and started kicking the back of one of em. This is where my GFs brother(who is about 6'3 260 and has a nasty temper.. ) saw what was happening and asked the guy to quit, he reply with the all american F-U, so my GF's bro put him on his ..  The CM came up and asked what was going on, we explained it, funny thing.. the guy was asked to move on.

people can be sooo stupid,i was on my way to mk and we saw some lady who accidently starting driving into mgm and so she swerved into the median and hit another car on the way, that is kinda stupid why not just turn around since we still had like half an hour b4 the parks opened.also another time we were in line for splash on the bottom of the barn and some mom almost dropped her child from the rails above and when we were almost at the unloading spot where the boats get backed up some people were trying to exit onto the rocks.it was funny but a cm yelled at them and some lady almost slid off the boat trying to get back on:hammer:

From what im hearing here...im really starting to question if I want to move there or even come back to visit the seemingly white trash mecca of central florida...is it just me or is this place(Orlando) a magnet for all the bubbas and darlenes from the trailer parks?

Now dont get me wrong, I believe everyone has just as much right to visit the parks as I do, but I wonder if alot of this is just hype or does danger lurk around every corner of the supposed "Happiest Place On Earth"??

I think it is not as bad as this thread makes out. If you take 100 people and get one moron, it doesn't seem so bad. That ratio (an assumption of course) still holds true in WDW. The problem is that you have one million people in a relatively small space, so now you have 100,000 morons close to you. No worse than any other day, but you see them more easily.

yea especially when your waiting for the parades at Magic KIngdom , you save a spot like an hour before the show , and next thing you know there little kids coming and crowding around

Our problems with the parades weren't the children it was the parents yelling at the kids saying "YOU can squeeze in there!" or how about the ones who arrive at parade time and say things like "the ADULTS should give up their spots for all children!" things like that. I kept our kids in the strollers and parked curb side..then I sat beside one stroller and my husband beside the other stroller so we could hold onto them..keep people from pushing them right off of the curb. Our older nephews sat beside us or right behind us. Still I felt like we sat for an hour..our kids gave up that hour of riding rides, see shows etc. I wasn't about to make the girls give up their spots...plus the girls were so small I was afraid of seperation after Spectro was over so it was easier having the three girls buckled into the strollers..one our own and one double stroller that we rented! One lady even told her son to sit in the foot area of our double stroller saying the girls could sit "indian style" so her son had a good view! That didn't fly with my husband!

What did you tell the lady? I know I would have been furious, but I´m not sure of how I would say "no" to her. It always happens to me... I´m afraid of being rude, but there are some cases in which it just comes out naturally! LOL this could be one! :animwink: (and I know sometimes seeing the face of her little one trying to see, just breaks my heart...)

I was at the supermarket the other night and this lady and her adult daughter were debating wether to buy some wine or not while they parked their cart right in the middle of the aisle and stood up holding it. I couldn´t pass with my mine, so I said "excuse me" twice and tried to go forward but it was impossible. Do you think they moved? NO! Finally, I decided to go through no matter what and in the process I crashed my cart with theirs.... they still didn´t move it! I just had to say "Thank you" out loud, but I don´t think they even got it.
