We have never eaten at Earl's, but have always wanted to. We even got as close as the front door last trip, but never did actually make it in (and I can't remember why for the life of me)!

After reading all these glowing reviews, it will be a MUST next March when we are down there! :sohappy:

Shame on you...... It's a must.

Well... now I have to try Earl of Sandwich next visit.
As far as table service, we've always been able to walk up at Turf Club in Saratoga Springs. Food and service have been top notch every time!

I'm glad that somebody mentioned The Turf Club. I had been told it was nice and I booked it for our Aug 10 trip.

I LOVE Whispering Canyon Cafe in WL. Get the skillet (Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner) a value - it's all you can eat, entertaining, and I have NEVER had to wait more than 1/2 hour at the busiest times without ADR's.:p

Trails end gets my vote. Great food and one of the lowest priced buffets on property. Lunch took a little bit of a dip when they switched to an all cold lunch but dinner and breakfast are still really good.

I guess it depends on what you want out of a meal. If you want to gorge yourself, I have not found anyplace that outscores the breakfast buffet at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The variety and quality are out of this world.

For lunch - I agree that Earl of Sandwich gets you in and out and provides the best food for the best price around, but that won't do you any good if you are in a Disney park, will it? I love Earl of Sandwich, so don't take that comment as any criticism.

In the Magic Kingdom, my favorite thing to do is to snag a window table overlooking Its a Small World at Pinocchio's Village Haus and enjoy the boats departing on their excursion while enjoying a burger and fries. If the menu changes, I'll still go there, and just order something else.

At the Animal Kingdom, it has to be the lake front dining with the view of Everest at Flame Tree. If you time it just right, you even get the boat coming around with Mickey Mouse and friends. That just makes my day. :)

Anyway, those are my favorite "secret" dining spots.

I would also agree with WPE-this cs location is better quality than most. It is more appealing to get food that comes on a plate rather than a paper container or in a wrapper. Although the food comes in the standard paper tray CHH is another little gem where the food quality seems to be a little more consistant.

A will also agree that Citricos is down right fabulous. We are here every trip.

Sure do miss those Figaro Fries. :slurp:

used to be Boatwright's breakfast.

I totally agree.

Currently, I'd go with Narcooossee's. The view is amazing, the ambiance outstanding, and the menu rivals anything at WDW, but I rarely hear it mentioned with other signature experiences. I have never seen a wait anytime I've ever been there.

Other places I'd recommend that get little press are the Yatchsman's Steakhouse and Ragland Road.

Dinner at the Crew's cup lounge next to the yatchtsman steakhouse, very small limited menu, but really good food (i think it comes out of the yatchtsman steakhouse kitchen)....and it's a nice quiet spot. I haven't been but once, but I imagine it's a place that you don't have to wait to get a table.

The Plaza Restaurant in the MK. Now even harder to find due to the refurb. :hammer:

But I love it! And never hear it mentioned. A native Floridian who takes her kids a few times a year told me about it. The strawberry chicken salad is amazing! Love the entertainment too!

I just recently discovered the Writer's Stop at the Hollywood Studios. It's kind of tucked out of the way and wasn't too crowded when I was there. It has a good selection of cookies and pastries. My personal favorite is the carrot cake cookie :slurp:.
