Mine's the boulangerie patisserie in France.

Ditto, the $3.75 ham and cheese sandwich is the best deal on site. Great for a mid meal snack for two or a straight up meal replacement. We usually do two and split a dessert for $11 for lunch. Much better than the $20 lunch everywhere else.

Love Narcooseees - great food and atmosphere, kids love it too, and we tried the Wave at the COntemporary on our last trip and it was really good. The food was well prepared and a change of pace from the other restaurants on site.

Citricos

I had not thought of Citricos as much of a secret, but I'll agree that its excellent. :slurp:

While some of the food at Boma is not 'mainstream', I was surprised to hear such a harsh opinion of it in general - while I prefer Jiko, I've always really enjoyed Boma as well - particularly for breakfast.

I've also had a great meal at Portobello Yacht Club .... and it does not seem to get much love ...

Where is there a Earl of Sandwich in Vegas? I'm there all the time and would love to know being one of my fav's! :slurp:

It's in the Planet Hollywood hotel, near the casino (not in the shops). There are apparently more than just those two, including three on Florida's turnpike and two in airports. It really annoys me when folks gush over this place. It's not as unique and original as people think it is! For a really good sandwich, go to Kringla in Norway . . . that's the best turkey sandwich in the World.

We found Chefs de France a great find for lunch. The price fix is the best value. Just the right amount of food and it is WONDERFUL. Love the french onion soup, ham & cheese sandwich and cream puffs (sorry I am not using the French version). I would BATHE in the chocolate sauce on the puffs.

We have eaten there 2 times now and onto a third this trip.

I personally enjoy dinner @ the Grand Floridian Cafe' @ the GF resort (redundant.. but guaranteed someone will ask where it's at.. )

Several Steaks, and one of the few places that actually has numerous different meats on the menu, not to mention excellent soups, and desserts.

I've also noticed the QS place at GF is never really that busy, and have had lunch & snacks there a few times.

We love the often overlooked Restaurant Marakesh.

But if you want something simple, but not as bland as McDonald's, then try a burger at Beaches and Cream.

I really like the Yak and Yeti quick service. We tried that last year and was very suprised at the quality of the Asian food. We are trying the TS this year since we liked it so much.

Sanaa is AMAZING and I have had friends meet me after work and we just walked right up and got in. Big table, right by the window, and all the POG juice my stomach could hold. :)

The Plaza restaurant in the MK. My DW and I discovered it a couple of trips back. It's now a must every trip. I recommend it to everyone who wants really good comfort food.
