Trip Report What Happens After the Girls Cruise…

I’m finally writing part 2!! Woo hoo!! It’s taken me forever to get to this part! So sorry for those that have waited patiently. :) Life, holidays and a few other trips slowed me down. This is part 2 of my girls’ cruise trip report. And while there is no actual cruising in this part, there are several girls’ cruisers, and a few other WDWMagic members, who make appearances!

Who: Me! And some other members! Like I said. :) Here I am with my roomie for the week @DisneyHeather:

When: September 13-18, 2013

What: 6 Nights at the Contemporary

Why: Well because it’s Disney of course. But also because of a work trip. The work trip followed the girls’ cruise by just a few days, so it seemed silly to go all the way home. Am I right?

I just missed Marie and Pam and Betsy were done with the crowds so I hung out with Siobhan and Sherry for a little while. Bill and Heather were on their way to meet us too! We walked over to the American Idol stairs and met up with Courtney and her sweet hubby. We found out poor Jess had been in line for hours waiting to meet the villains. :jawdrop:

Bill and Heather caught up, everyone met and we decided to go for a spin on Star Tours. The ride lines were fine! It was just the villains that were insane!

Here's my instagram photo - we are ready to ride! Sherry, Siobhan, Bill and myself! WDWMagic’ers!

Heather did not ride because, as we later found out, was expecting! Yay! :)

After our ride we walked over to the Backlot and met up with Jess, Courtney, Mr. Howe and I think that was it. I’m sorry if I forgot someone!

Bill and Heather!

And me!

Whoo hoo! Great picture! I'm in a beautiful sammich!

The Star Tours picture is the best! Great to meet Sherry, and Siobhan.... And Jess and Courtney too!

Love it! Your pics are awesome, as always! :)

The whole meeting people online thing creeped me out for awhile, but I actually have some good friends that I have been friends with for 10+ years that I have still never met in person, only talked to online and over the phone. It still does kinda creep me out a bit because there are some crazies out there who will do lord knows what to girls they meet online, but I steer clear of anyone that seems even marginaly like a serial killer! :D

Did you eat all 6 of those Oreo Bon Bons?! If so, that is amazing!! I finished 4 in November and felt so stuffed! But they were sooo good! I'm all for the sweets for breakfast, lunch and dinner while on vacation! It's never too early for cupcakes or soda. Or alcohol! Actually, when we went to breakfast at Royal Palace a couple weeks back, our server asked me what was in my tumbler and I replied "malibu rum and lemonade" and he was like "It's 9am. Isn't that a little early?" And I replied "not on vacation! Besides, we just ordered mimosas and those have alcohol in them, too!" :D So all bets are off on vacation!!

Thank you, Darolyn!

Good plan! If they seem like a serial killer, avoid them. Lol!

I did not sadly! I just couldn't eat them all and I was so sad to throw some away. I think I hit 4 like you! I do eat a little crazy on vacation. Who am I kidding, I eat a little crazy at home too, I just can't get Oreo Bon Bons here. :)

Yay a new Tammy report! I'm a few days late to the party, but hey, I'm caught up before it's over, so that counts.

You're here! I've still got more! Hopefully I'll get more done tomorrow. :)

I did, I did! Quadruple selfie!

Yes! Lol! They should be all the rage!

We were scheduled for a tour of Art of Animation that afternoon so we didn’t have too long, but we were starving. So what does one do when they’re starving and don’t have much time?

You visit the local tavern!

There are no words to describe how much I love the pork shank. :D

We walked quickly back to the Contemporary gnawing on our meat as we went. I hope no one saw us that we knew. We looked like cavewomen. Happy cavewomen, but cavewomen nonetheless.

Tour time!

We stopped at a pirate room at Caribbean Beach Resort first.
