I've done plans myself before which is ok. This time around we used KK and it was so easy! They do everything for you! And Tammy is our ep. and she did an amazing job with helping us out. I think from now on I'll be using them.

First I consider special events such as MNSSHP, MVMCP etc. Then I get a yeah or nay on EMH. With that information I decide on which parks to go to on which day. After that I do my dining.

I do as much as I can on the internet and, if all else fails or need absolute confirmation, I'll call. I'd like to try a travel agent sometime but just can't quite bring myself to give up that "control". I guess I need convincing.

I was the same way for a long time. I gave up control for the first time and never looked back. I never realized how much work I would put into planning and reserving Disney trips until I did not have to do it anymore. Booking a trip changed from waiting on hold with Disney and reserving a room, constantly checking the forums for specials and promotions, calling Disney again to rebook if and when I found something, waiting on hold to reserve dining and all the time wondering if I missed something to sending an email to KK and then going on the trip.

Give us a shot you will not regret it.

i do most of my planning online. i normally call to book the trip and adrs but for my upcoming trip i booked both the room and adrs online. i will call to confirm everything before i leave. i use disneys website to find out about park hours, emhs, parades, etc. i enjoy planning my trips so that is why i dont use a travel agent. i like using the online booking system because it is quick and easy.

I research everything online and then I call in in case I need a little more help.

I have considered trying to let others plan my vacation, but it really is a labor of love. Also I have found that when our plan of attack needs to change, I know quickly what my options are so we can mitigate any lost time or opportunities.

I always have a great time planning and researching our trip!!!

We are veterans to the land, so there is not much daily planning like which ride at which time needed. I am here every day on the forums reading about new rides, park hours, experiences, refurbs etc, so that I can build into the itinerary.

I like to call to make the resort reservations, I feel better talking to someone and knowing exactly what I am getting. I am kinda picky, I make many requests and have gotten what I wanted each time. I did with online booking as well, but it is fun to talk to cms most of the time.

The online adrs have made it much easier for me. I really enjoyed using the system. I think it is less stressful because you are in control and can pick the times and days quicker than someone explaining it over the phone.

I made our package reservation online since I can look at the different rooms myself. Then I ended up changing resorts, so had to call Disney. I also called to make my dining reservations. Now that you can make dining reservations online, I doubt I'll really need to call Disney for anything. Might as well save on long distance charges and see for myself what is available.

Master Yoda, if I can ever get over my "control issues" regarding my Disney trips, you WILL be the first person I call! I very much appreciate all the insight and advice you offer everyone here and would trust you with my most precious plans (only slightly hyperventilating as I write.)

I chose use Kingdom Konsultants even though I use Mouse Ears Vacations, but felt it was the closest option because Mouse Ears Vacations is also specialized in Disney.
They do a wonderful job and I hear equally great things about KK.
These places are really a god-send. I feel I know quite alot about WDW, but it is always helpful to have an expert take care of these things for you. The peace of mind is really what I love about it.

Being from the UK I book flights through a Travel Agent.

If we're staying on property then I book the accomodation through the same agent, if we're off property then i book via the internet.

Car Hire is through the Travel Agent.

Park Passes (Disney + SeaWorld) through the internet.

Specoal events (CandleLight Processional and ADRs) over the phone

One of my first client's had those same control issues and he is slowly becoming convinced. Of course I am sure it helped when I was able to tweak his sisters reservation and shave off $900.:animwink:
