what do YOU do first?

when i first get to WDW... i NEED to go to MK. and the first ride is ALWAYS Buzz Lightyear's space ranger spin...

so i was just wondering what ever one else likes to do first??

what park do you like to go to first??
and what attraction do you like to do first?
(if you like to just hang around the first day, then what do you like to do first the next day?)

I run to Space Mountain or Thunder Mountain. They are my faves. :)
Also I do that if it has been a while since I have been in the parks. When I had my AP and was going once to twice a month I would meander and not really rush any certain attraction.

I want to rush SM right now! :(

If it's just me and my smaller family - Epcot and SSE. This past visit was MK as SSE was closed and we were with extended familiy.

Go straight to MK, take our time walking down MAIN ST. towards CINDERELLA's CASTLE and stopping now and then and say to myself we're finally here!

Last year, we tried to go to EPCOT the first day since we got there later in the day. We ended up leaving and heading to MK b/c it didn't feel right. We head to Buzz first, too.

We will be there in 15 days.:sohappy:

Oh, and isn't it really annoying when someone in your party has to visit the restroom right when you get there??? :fork: :lol:

That has been a first attraction many times!

Almost always go to Magic Kingdom first and go to It's A Small World. I only remember once ever going to a different park on my first day and that was to Animal Kingdom, and the first attraction we did was It's Tough To Be A Bug.

It depends on how my schedule works out for the trip.
If Magic Kingdom is first, then I usually check out Exposition Hall first. Don't ask me why, I just like walking through it first. From there I go on to the Treehouse and continue on to the left.
If Epcot, then usually Ellen's Energy Adventure. Last December, though, Wonders of Life was first every day I went.
If Disney-MGM, then definitely The Great Movie Ride.
If Animal Kingdom, usually Dinosaur, but only because I go through that Park right to left...which is odd since I go through the others left to right.

im exactly the same.. we fp space mountain then go play buzz ( i lost pretty bad this year.. so sad) lol i think its the best interactive ride ! love it!

I usually arrive later in the day on Day 1, so I usually check in at POR, drop off the stuff, and head over to DTD via boat. That is usually started with a stop by the Ghirardelli fountain for an ice cream cone.

I typically like to head over to Epcot and stroll around the World Showcase, take my time and take in all of the wonderful landscaping/shops.

i like to take the bus over to Epcot and then hop on the monorail for a ride over to MK. Nothing like making your entrance to MK by monorail. When you see the welcome sign and the mountains. IT's great. Then try to head to BTM especially this years since 4yrs ds can't wait t ride it for his first time. He is a big rollercoaster fan. Guess it runs in the family

Usually on the first day, I kick around the resorts, eating, and just relaxing.

THEN: *Drum roll*

If I am at...

Magic Kingdom: I kill anyone in my way to get to Casey's :slurp:

Epcot: I head for the Coca-Cola factory- *cough* I mean, "Club Cool..." :hurl: :rolleyes:

MGM: INDY!!!!
Animal Kingdom: Now... Everest!!!! :sohappy:

It's funny we ALWAYS go to DTD first thing. We love taking in the Disney feel before we actually go to Disney. Walking around shopping is so much fun and gets us psyched for the rest of the trip. We didn't do that last year and we were all so ed off that we didn't. It just wasn't the same!
