We usually go straight to MK, however on our next trip we will have to go to DTD for some shopping because our package wont start until the next day

Usually our flight gets in pretty early so we head on over to the Marketplace first. We hit Wolfgang Puck Express for a lite lunch. Then its time for the World of Disney: the best gift shop on the face of the earth. We usually spend a good couple of hours there. Then it's check in time at our off property timeshare (sorry). Then we head on over to Publix to stock our villa for the week. Then we usually spend the evening hot tubbing or relaxing by the pool. However when that first sunrise comes....it's theme parks all day, every day. MGM is almost always first. Since MK is my favorite, I like to hold off going there for at least 3 days or so. We only hit each theme park once, so I don't want to have that experience over with right away.

Dole Whips
I can't wait for the Dole Whip Stand to open. I like being the first in line when they open the doors. does anyone know if they are available anywhere else on property? :slurp:

Pretty sure that MK is the only place you'll find Dole Whips.:slurp:
We used to do MK first every time, but last year we tried doing MK on the last day. It was hard for us because we were so used to MK kicking off our vacation, that being there on the last day was beyond depressing. We didnt really even enjoy it because we were so preoccupied with the trip being over.

Go to Magic Kingdom period! If I dont do it on the first day I am in agony till I get there!

I like to head over to AK first,then when that park closes we head back to the resort for a bit and relax and get ready to go eat .Then we head over to the MK to see Wishes and walk down MAIN STREET to finally get the feeling we are at the world,just to stand in front of the castle with my family is just a great plesure.

We will usually arrive in the early evening because we drive in after work, so we will normally head over to Downtown Disney and shop/eat. It is usually the last place we stop before we head home too!

Yeah! Timeshare-going Publix-shoppers represent! :lol: I should have mentioned that Publix is really the start of our trip.

Our flight normally gets in around 2ish. I usually have us reservations set for a character dinner in either the Magic Kindgom or MGM. If at the Magic Kingdom it is at Liberty Tree Tavern. If at MGM, usually at Hollywood & Vine. We then go get a spot for the Spectromagic Parade and watch Wishes if in MK. If in MGM, after dinner we head over to watch Fantasmic. I always find doing it this way gives us a magical start.

The first thing we do is go to Mk and the first ride is its a small world. We have made it a tradition...the only downside is then you asre singing that song all day long!!!!!:hammer:
