What Disney characters do you want to see more of?

I would like to see more variety period.I go to Disney usually once a year and we tend to see the same stuff year in year out.I think I see the Mickey and Donald thru the years hat every year(Used to be a Store Manager for Hat World/Lids so I notice the Hats :ROFLOL:) I am a huge Donald Duck fan but it is really limited on stuff just for him.I usually see Goofy,Mickey,Tink, pooh and Grumpy at most places but few Donald shirts or sweatshirts.I would also like to see them expand their "Jerseys" Some other charachters in jersey material with their year of starting(ie: Donald 34 for 1934,28 for Mickey,Grumpy 37 and so on)I know alot of people like jerseys and for people who don't care for Sports this would be something they would like as they wouldnt have to support a team just to wear a jersey.

I would love to see more TOY STORY characters. Rex, Hamm, Sarge, Slinky Dog, Bo Peep, Zurg, Mr. Potatoe Head, even Sid would be cool.

I know that Mickey & friends, Pooh Bear & friends, & the Princesses have to be staple characters, but it would be fun for repeat guests to have a few rarer characters out there. I know when ever I see someone that I haven't seen in a while, I do everything I can to get that autograph!

Chip & Dale

My daughter got to get her picture taken with them but wanted to buy a t-shirt or something. We asked a few CM's, but know one seemed to know where Chip & Dale merchandise was.

Here's who I'd love to see:

-Uncle Scrooge: Apparently some people have seen him on Christmas Day, but I have been at MK for 2 Christmases and have never met him...I wish he'd be a regular!

-Huey, Dewey, and Louie: These guys are classics yet are never out! Blasphemy!

-Three Little Pigs: I think they were out in the 80s, but I don't remember meeting them as a kid.

-Oliver: This one's personal, because my two cats are named Marie and Oliver. I met Marie at DHS in January, and now I'd love to meet Oliver. I think it would be cool to have pictures of the characters Marie and Oliver in twin frames with pics of my cats next to them (gosh, it's so shocking I'm single ).

-Bernard and Bianca: I agree with those who want some of the 70s characters to make a comeback...Baloo and King Louie are out (and they have been for years, not just now for the DVD) - why no Rescuers? You would think this would help get kids nowadays interested in these movies.

I don't think I would insist on a meet and greet with these guys but I would like to see the characters from The Great Mouse Detective represented in someway. It's one of my favoritate movies.

I also think there should be more Kronk stuff. He is one of my favoirate Disney Charaters.

I think Daisy just gets the shaft! As I posted before she is my son's(2) favorite and she is nowhere to be found... We saw her one time in front of the hat at Disney Studios and the lady told us the line was closed and to come back, but DAisy never came back to taht spot, and we came back every time that was listed on the times sheet.... Mickey gets Minnie so Donald should have Daisy with him, or maybe she has another duck on the side somewhere!!! The professor perhaps?
I agree w/ this one.
We got a pic of her at MGM last summer.
That is the only time that we saw here.
I don't think we even saw her on our last trip.

I purchased a set of Chip & Dale plush toys at a shop in the GF last summer.
I also saw a pair of them dressed in the blue YOAMD outfits at a shop in Epcot.

Of course more villans, seems like there stuck in a rut with the same ones; Cruella, Snow Queen, Maleficent, Frollo, Hook, and Jafar. Where is Mr Oogie Boogie, or the villan from Mulan, etc...?
I also would like to see more Robin Hood respect in the parks. Seems like the most successful Disney film of the 70's should get more park time other than the rather infrequant character appearences.
As far as characters to meet and greet the Three little pigs, Donalds nephews, and more rare characters in general should appear.
We have been to the parks pretty regularly over the past few years and while Disney has loads of characters out they seem to be the same ones over and over.

We caught the Snow Queen at MK in February and in September at MGM, Hook at MK, Adventureland and at the hat MGM, Jafar was there also and I love him he was so great.:)

Zummi Gummi

Pioneering the Universe Within!
Roger Rabbit.

I know all about the legal reasons for his (very abrupt) departure, but I wish they would get those straightened out, because he's a great character who was EVERYWHERE in the late '80's and early '90's.

Dang! :brick: We missed that! That would have been great for her. We never went to GF so I would not have seen them there. Thanks for the info though, maybe they will still have them next year. We might be going next year.

Yes, not only do they need to vary the characters, they need to supply the merchandise as well. DD LOVES Mary Poppins (happy to hear she is being found easily in the parks) but there is NO merchandise for her. DH asked a CM at DTD in July about Mary Poppins stuff and was told to check Ebay! (I know there is now 'some' on Disneyshopping.com due to the Broadway musical, but still not much...) If it is an issue for her, I am sure it is an issue for a lot of others as well.

Hey, Disney! People will spend the money if you make the right products!

Scrooge is out during Christmas time, he and donald switch on and off at the tree lot. Its right by the toontown sign/ tea cups. Its a great photo op, they have a bunch of christmas trees in the back ground and they have a photopass person take it

And i think the problem with Huey, duey, and louie is that you have to find someone shorter than usual. They are much shorter characters than even mickey and minnie. you would have to emply more people with the size of tinkerbell probably

And some ones i would like to see are the characters from Hunchback. When i first went to Disney, i saw them, and that was because of the Notre Dame show at MGM, but i have never seen any of them since.

I think we all would like to see more characters. Over the past few years the same set of around 90 are out around the parks in one week with very few new ones. You can pretty much count on the same list every year, once again with a few exceptions. I only wish Disney would hear us on this and actualy take action on this. I think this is the fourth or fifith thread like this in the last year.
The replies are generaly the same.
Thread starts: More characters please!!!...
Response: The popular ones need to be out.
Counter response:.....I understand there are Princesses, Pooh Characters, and Big 5 that always need to be out, but we all know they have hundreds of characters just waiting for their chance.
Response: But many people cannot afford multiple Disney trips.
Counter response: Yes I know, but there are a lot of people who come often as well,
Summary: I think all of us just want some variety there is nothing wrong with that.
I think its time the parks did a major shuffling of characters.
