What did you do?

I wish there was a way to get a virtual kick in the butt. My running motivation has hit an all time low. When I am running, I don't feel
like I am running well and it has made it that sometime I just don't want to. I got changed into my running gear at work at the end of
the day and headed home. By the time I got there I had no desire to run and didn't. Really need to pick it up. I am training for January's
Disney Marathon and have a half marathon this weekend. (Sorry for the rant)
We've all been there.

Totally depressed. I was running a half marathon on Sunday. By the numbers things were going pretty well.
I am honest about my running and I was running around a12:00 minute pace through 4.5 miles and then it
was like I hit the wall in a marathon. I ended up walking a mile back to my car hanging a big DNF on the
board. I can't explain it.

Doh. That's tough, but we have all had off days. Whats important is to keep at it. Switch it up, trying dirt instead of paved, speedwork instead of distance, something to help break the cycle and get back in there.

Thank you! I really have never had this problem and I have been running for a long time. When training for the 2020 Disney Marathon,
I ran three half marathons leading up to January using them as training. According to my Garmin in a half I ran in November of 2019, I actually ran my fastest times for the 5k, 10k and half marathon since I got this watch, all in the same race. I need to shake this off.

Well short distances are going pretty well. I ran 4.23 miles at what my Garmin recorded as a 12:42 pace. I was actually
faster than that, as I walked for a cool down after I hit 4 miles. Amazingly my third mile was my fastest at 12:06 for that
mile. (no, it was not downhill) Time to extend the miles now.

I have not been able to run at all this week with this weather. Hopefully I can get back out this weekend.
My weather in the Northeast is starting to change to ideal running weather. 60s in the morning, low 70s in the afternoon.
Unfortunately, by the time I get to Florida in January I will probably be training in temps in the 20s & 30s.

That's what was so bad about Star Wars for me. Training was cold weather even here in Georgia and then you go run in Florida in the spring and can't breathe.

But this week we've had severe storms every day and some minor flooding. Too dangerous to run in the morning. But my legs are feeling really good with the off week!
